“The place and the view are truly beyond words. However, to be honest, the pricing is excessive. There is a 300 baht entrance fee, payable at the gate, solely for access to the view. Inside, I ordered a non-alcoholic mango mojito, but it was served with alcohol. I returned it and requested a replacement, which cost 150 baht. The drink itself was quite average. In total, I paid 450 baht for the entrance and one drink, yet I stayed for only about half an hour. I would give two stars for the view and the DJ, but the pricing structure and service quality clearly need to be reviewed and improved.”

“Sunset view from here is great. You do need to pay 400B entry to get in but it’s a really chill atmosphere and the food and drinks were great too.”

“I was very lucky to find this place by accident around lunchtime. I had the whole place to myself for a few hours. The staff were super friendly and the food and smoothies were delicious. The pool was much needed treat and the view was just epic. I watched the sun set looked behind me and the place was packed. Wish I’d had another day there tbh.”

“Great spot… if you enjoy being overcharged and treated poorly. We came as a group of 9 and got a lovely welcome of 200 baht per person just to get in. The waiter was impressively rude, which really added to the “unique” atmosphere. Prices are also much higher than elsewhere on Koh Phangan, but I guess that’s part of the experience. Plenty of other places on the island where you’ll actually feel welcome, would recommend those instead.”

“Sunset Bar Amsterdam has the perfect vibe for an evening out! It feels young and lively, with a relaxed, friendly crowd and that sense you’re exactly where you want to be. Huge shoutout to the DJ — the set was amazing, track after track, and it was impossible not to dance. And of course, the sunset view is absolutely stunning: the sky, the lights, and a drink in your hand make it a truly unforgettable moment. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out!”
