Arquiza Street Pares and Mami

“A great road side spot with really lovely staff. It’s my first time to Manila and I was excited to try Pares & Mami. The staff here were more than happy to serve me and bring me whatever condiments I wanted to enjoy the meal. It was 80 pesos for a bowl of pares and the quality was great. Soft and tender beef with fat that washed down last nights hangover with ease. Loved the addition of freshly cut Chili’s to add some heat to the bowl. Good quality noodles that were cooked well and had nice bounce to them!”

“Got chicken mami (150peso) here. The staff was nice. The chicken was flavorful and it enriched the soup. I didn’t love the noodles though; they were soggy and stuck together.”
