“I had an absolutely disappointing experience with Bali Home Immo when I recently sold my villa. It started off well enough. I would like to thank Rah and Wawan for their professionalism and expediency in listing my villa. They were a great first impression. My issues began while working with Anna, the selling agent. We rushed to sign an MOU, the buyer took weeks to pay the deposit. In the meantime, I could have collected documents, signatures, anything I needed. 2+ weeks later while I was on holiday in the jungles of Sumatra I get a message saying the buyer paid the deposit, and I needed to provide various documents that were not included in the files I sent over. I said I needed help with a few and rather than offer help I was threatened with a penalty. I had to ask the assistance of an agent (and friend thankfully) at a rival agency to assist me in securing these documents. In discussing with him, he also indicated how rude Anna was to deal with and he was basically doing her job for her. She was not one to find a solution had it not been presented to her. She didn’t even inform me that due diligence was being conducted at my villa. The notary contacted me asking which villa was mine while they were already there. At the signing I was not even introduced to the buyer. He had introduced himself to me when Anna left the room. She had her back turned to me the entire time. Furthermore, in the 2 weeks between my agent friend finding her a solution and the eventual signing I was not informed I needed to provide ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS from my original notary. I spent my final day in Bali chasing down documents that other agents told me should have been HER job! Upon securing the documents myself, and delivering them from one notary to another myself, I received not even a thank you once everything was signed and done. Instead, I received rude messages about the buyer holding out a payment until they hear from my villa manager. All things that should have been done before signing. Her behaviour and lack of professionalism throughout the process compelled me to write this review. A terrible and very disappointing experience.”
