“On January 26th2026, I visited BROS to have a distal fracture of my right hand examined, which unfortunately had not been treated properly at Siloam in Labuan Bajo. I consulted with Dr. Wien, who recommended surgery, which he then performed that same evening till 3:30 in the morning. BROS is well-organized, and as in any hospital worldwide, occasional waiting times occur, and the requirement for a deposit as a private patient is not unusual. All staff, starting with RIPAC (appointments via WhatsApp), through the alarm center, the emergency department, x-ray, and up to the ward nurses and doctors, are incredibly friendly, caring, and well-trained. I received professional treatment and follow-up care and I am pleased that I can fully use my hand again after the fracture has healed. My thanks to the entire team and to Dr. Wien, who acted calmly, professionally, and with a patient-centered approach.”

“We came to this hospital following the instructions from our insurance (Yati Insurance / ASEAN Assistance) with our 7-month-old baby. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, we were sent to doctors who were not pediatric specialists. The examination lasted barely 3–5 minutes, with no diagnostic tests performed — they only took the baby’s temperature before giving a diagnosis and prescribing three different medications. After that, we were sent to the pharmacy/payment counter and told to wait. We waited around 90 minutes with our sick baby in our arms without any information. Only when we approached the staff again were we told that they were still waiting for the doctor to write the medical report, even though the consultation had been extremely brief. To speed up the process and take proper care of our child, we ended up paying ourselves. The most concerning part is the lack of pediatric evaluation and the long, unexplained delays for such a simple case. This is not the level of care one should expect when bringing a sick baby to a hospital.”

“A large, modern hospital. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. You can make an appointment with a doctor by sending a message via WhatsApp. On the scheduled day, I registered at the reception desk on the first floor. I didn’t see any long queues at this hospital. The doctor saw me fairly quickly. 🙏 The gynecologist, Dr. I.B.N Suardiana Manuaba, is a good, competent, and friendly doctor. I was satisfied with my visit to both the doctor and the hospital.”
