“We had breakfast at Banana Leaf every morning and had the pleasure of being looked after by Aod, Peace, Ningz, Faii, Palm and Tan during our five-day stay, and I truly can’t speak highly enough of them. Every single morning at the breakfast buffet, they greeted us with genuine warmth and kindness that never felt forced or routine. What stood out most was their attentiveness. They remembered our preferences from the very first day—how we liked our coffee, or where we preferred to sit. It made each morning feel personal and welcoming, rather than just another hotel breakfast. Their care went beyond simple service. They were always one step ahead—clearing plates promptly, offering refills without being asked, and checking in just enough to make sure everything was perfect. Over the course of five days, their consistency never wavered. Their positive energy, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression and truly elevated our overall experience at the Renaissance Koh Samui. A heartfelt thank you to all of them for making our mornings something to look forward to. They are a credit to the hotel and a perfect example of what outstanding service is like. “Another great Restaurant at the Renaissance. Breakfast is served here, wich is amazing and the variety second to none. I also like it during hot days to enjoy a air conditioned meal for lunch when the pool bar is just too hot 😀 It also has great offers and events for the evenings. What is standing out at the Renaissance overall is the customer service and this goes without saying also for the Banana Leaf. Thank you Saii & Team!!!”

“Most I like was the friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so nice. The reception, the two guys from the gym, the breakfast room and here specially Ningz (so warm person), Peace, Fai, Aod, Woody and the Trainee Palm, too. They all were so lovely every morning, when we came in. They were really attentive and careful. But all the other employees were so nice, too. It was really hard to say goodbye. But for sure we will come back. Thanks for these holidays.”
