What people say
“Bad food. Worst taste. Dont visit to this place. They have no taste. The Daal seems like a pre packed food which has been cooked ols. And the roti is just like soft dough. No acknowledgement. Too much over confidence.”
“I finally decided to take the plunge and try this place after walking by it a 1000 times. I dined inside which was air cooled and the furnishings & decor were of a high level, so first impressions were very good. Menu is OK but not as varied as what we are used to in the UK (yes, we are spoiled for good Indian food there). Prices are on the high side both for BKK and comparatively speaking (again with UK). The small taster was welcome and very nice. The main event chicken Jalfreizi: the Jalfreizi sauce was excellent, however the cheap quality chicken really let it down. In my opinion it was cheap chicken leg or thigh meat and not breast as I would expect. It was chewy, had gristle and even a small bone that made me think I’d broken a tooth! Fortunately I hadn’t. When I shared my feedback with one of the waitresses she seemed indifferent. Would I try it again?? I would probably give them a second chance and try a lamb dish and hope for the best. The live Indian music was very good by the way.”
“One of the best Indian restaurants in Bangkok. Ambience was great. Aesthetics done right. Staff polite and courteous . Above all , special care for my gluten free diet preferences with utmost consideration. This restaurant surely has my heart. Will definitely visit again whenever I visit Bangkok again.”
“The restaurant had a modern and beautiful interior, making it suitable for hosting events. Yesterday, I went there for dinner with a friend. The music was contemporary and trendy. When we arrived, there weren't many occupied tables; we were the only customers at that time. However, the staff mentioned that more people typically come later in the evening, around 21:00. The food was average and not too spicy, catering to the taste of foreign customers since it's located on a street popular with tourists. The service was fast.”
“Very welcoming staff. They were quick to attend to us. Upside down vada pav was delicious and had a very different presentation to traditional vada pav. For the mains we got the paneer kadai and pudina paratha. Great portion sizes for sharing. Salty lassi was nice and calming on a very hot day. Felt the prices to be a little high and They have live music on weekends.”
