“One of the supposed bestsellers, the Steak Frites, was just okay. You can get better steak elsewhere at the same price point. The Burnt Butter Ice Cream was really good - I should have tried the sundae version but it's too big for one person. Great ambience. You'd go here more for the atmosphere than the food.”

“An amazing experience here. Exceptional service, high-quality food and wine selection. I recommend this restaurant for its great location. Perfect venue for a special occasion. Not your regular food chain restaurant. It is fine dining with a great variety of delectable menu options to choose from. I highly recommend trying the Massaman lamb shank curry and tuna steak was perfectly cooked. We were very pleased with our order. The price is of the high end but it was worth every bite.”

“What a wonderful piece of architecture and history! I went with a group of friends and a lot of food was ordered. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, would love to have sat inside - perfect for an ultra romantic date night. We all sat outside which was great. Lots of different cocktails - I had the Blackbird Aviation, Blenheim Bouquet and Pussy Galore. All made to high standards. The scotch eggs were definitely our favourite- great Asian spin on such a classic British dish. Crab with rice cakes were good, not a show stopper. And the tuna was also great. The pork crackling with fish mouse was fine but not really a starter - I would say better suited as snacks. The service was great, lots of attention. One note, our Waitrose was particularly rude. Not very welcoming or catering. No smiles, never referred to the guests by Sir of Ma’am, didn’t like being called upon. Didn’t like when the table had questions. I think this is quite unusual for this type of establishment but still worth noting.”

“Appetizers were the highlight of what we ordered. Got the crispy squash flowers and beef carpaccio. Main dishes were ok (ordered the iberico pork skewers and beef tenderloin with vegetable fritters) but felt overpriced for what they offered. Dessert was ok too (Tiramisu and ice cream). No huge complaints about the service but understandable that it was a busy night when we came so there wasn’t always a waiter on standby. Atmosphere was great loved the big christmas tree near the entrance to the restaurant!”
