Convivial Champagne Bar

“Birthday dinner celebration here and it was nothing short of lovely. Really enjoyed my glass of Pertois-Moriset Rose Blanc, and my husband enjoyed his glass of Gamet Rive Droite. Smooth, easy to drink and it was a pleasant surprise for me who is generally not too big of a champagne fan 😂 Off-menu Rockefeller oysters were delicious, and so were our mains. Blue swimmer crab pasta had a nice spicy kick to it, with generous servings of crab meat. Gg French poulet was so tender and flavourful! Ended off the meal with a sweet glass of Ratafia and yuzu creme brûlée. Would definitely return! Definitely worth a visit 💯”

“Intended for members of the Champagne cult, we came for the food of chef Henri who fires up the barbecue every Friday night. And it didn't disappoint, the food was top notch: the duck rillette and pork jowl (starters), the off-menu grilled beef and grilled wagyu short-ribs (mains, small portions) and the yuzu crème brûlée as an innovative closure. Thankfully, they serve wine too (at 30 SGD a glass stiffly priced), with a marc de champagne (of course) as digestive. The place is small but not noisy, and the a/c definitely works well. Kind service of the lecturing-sommelier type. For 5 dishes, 3 glasses of wine, and 1 digestive, the bill added up to 275 SGD for 2 people. You decide if that's too much or not.”

“We recently moved to Singapore and were searching for good wine bars. Our sommelier friend recommended this champagne bar and commented “this is not the touristie kind but a legit champagne bar for winos.” He was totally correct!! Very cozy and chic atmosphere, the extensive champagne options by glass and bottle, the food curated to pair particularly with champagne! What a find! To top it off, our host Adrian, was as friendly and accommodating as a host could be. I made reservation for two but 3 other coworker friends showed up to join us. Adrain accommodated us without a blink even though the bar was filling up fast. He gave us a tutorial of they champagne selection matching our preferred style with such ease and down-to-earth attitude, that we all felt comfortable no matter what level of wine experience in our group. We tried 6 different champagnes and I found my new favorite!! Definitely will be back!!”

“Convivial is probably Singapore’s best champagne bar. I have been visiting multiple times over the past 1-2 years, attending special events like champagne masterclasses, Sunday brunches, restaurant collaborations and just having a glass or two of champagne. Yang and Adrian are the most wonderful hosts that I have met and interacted with. They always make the extra effort to get to know guests better, share their knowledge about the vast array of champagnes available and ensure that all guests are well taken care of every time they visit. Even if one has no or little knowledge about champagne, he or she will leave the bar keen to explore more about champagne in future. The food served alongside the champagne is also always top tier and specially curated to pair well with the champagnes available. Shout out to the chef working tireless in the kitchen always. I definitely look forward to returning regularly.”

“A beautiful experience from start to finish. The champagne list is one of the most thoughtful I’ve seen, true to Champagne, organised by region, and clearly curated with real passion. The service was impeccable, and Yang’s knowledge and warmth made the night feel special. The food was genuinely delicious. I’m already looking forward to going back!”
