What people say

“We had to make amend to the less-than-satisfying dinner at El Iberico and nothing was more perfect than having a bottle of wine somewhere new. In KL city centre, there is nothing short of watering holes. I read about Coupe de Vin located in the Chinatown area, and since we were in KL the timing couldn't be better. The service was impeccable and they would assist you on the wine selection. They do have indoor seatings to save us from this hot and stuffy weather, but the lure of beautifully lit Merdeka 118 Tower proved too much to resist and thankfully the night weather was not that stuffy at that time. A bottle of Malbec, close to 2 hours of sitting down while sipping wines, enjoying the view as well as minding our own businesses. Note: they do have RM88 per pax for unlimited wine pouring for 1 hour. I didn't take as I had to drive back home later.”
“Came to Coupe de Vin with high expectations, hoping for a really cool wine bar with a good selection of wines, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. The bar is located on the second floor of Flaon and the wine selection was very limited. The house wines only consisted of one red, one white, and one rosé, which didn’t leave much room for choice, especially for a place positioning itself as a wine bar. The seating area was also outdoors, and it was very hot and stuffy, which made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. We ended up having just one glass of rosé and decided to sit on the second floor of the café (which was air conditioned) instead. It could have been a much more enjoyable visit with a better and more curated wine selection, and if the outdoor seating was made more comfortable — simple additions like fans would make a big difference. Hopefully improvements can be made, as the concept has potential.”
“U have to go through Flaon cafe at g floor to get up to Coupe De Vin. As its name it's a young Vin for simply choosing white red rose selection for pouring(they have vintages too at their list). Try 1 hour free flow at 88 myr. Simple gig with Hindu temple and old street view at 1st floor. White wine was Chardonay presumably an aussie one: good standard as a house pour. P.S. Smonking allowed”
“Came for a good descent wine but don't have much choices for house pour. Limited to only rose wine that's available, otherwise need to purchase a bottle. Feels like self service as there were no staff attend to you on spot but only awhile. Walking into empty store can be quite an anxiety as it is not sure if it's open or close. But for the environment sake, it is definitely worth coming for the PNB view. ✨”
“Coupe de Vin is a fantastic find in Chinatown, just near the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple. The entrance is a little understated, but once inside, the vibe is warm and inviting. We visited during their unlimited wine special (1 hour for 88 MYR) — great value with a solid wine selection. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. With views of Merdeka 118, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed drink in KL. Highly recommended!”
