“We had an amazing private tour of Doi Inthanon with Nee. Right from the start, she was incredibly welcoming and just genuinely friendly. What we appreciated most was how flexible she was with our schedule. She completely customized the day to match exactly what we wanted to do. The best part was the hill trekking—Nee brought along a local guide from the Karen tribe, and they made an awesome team. They were incredible at spotting hard-to-see wildlife that we totally would have missed, and we learned so much about the nature and plants along the way. “Went on the Gibbons monkeys tour and it exceeded my expectations. The tour has the perfect mix of hiking, local food and drink, and exploring the picturesque village. Our guides were super friendly and knowledgeable about all the different herbs, plants, and animals in the jungle - even some which we could taste. I was surprised that we didn’t encounter even one other tour group - it’s obvious that a lot of thought was put into designing this tour. Overall value is incredible for what you get (pickup and drop off from hotel, lunch, coffee, tours) and it’s really a unique experience if you’re visiting Chang Mai area. Totally recommend!!”

“An amazing and must-do small group tour company with pickup at your hotel in Chiangmai! I booked the day trip trekking in the jungle to see the gibbons and was very impressed by the organization, easy communication, professionalism and high quality of the tour! I had a wonderful time: we were a small group and we saw the gibbons and probably would have not seen them on our own as they are not so many in the jungle. It was also great to support the locals project as part of the costs of the tour goes directly to the caretakers of the gibbons to feed them in time of scarcity and also to replant trees. The organization was top-notch: from pick-up to the trekking, to coffee break and lunch included and walking in the village but far from the tourists. On top of this, the team was genuinely kind and very helpful. Our guide was so cute and our driver Mrs.Tom was the friendliest thai I met in Chiangmai so far Highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting in Chiangmai: I came back with lot of beautiful memories and nice encounters with locals! “I've done the eco cooking tour and it was the best!!! The place where we went was beautiful and the people were very sweet 😃. She explained everything about herbs and plants as we walked through the forest and the mae kampong village and we saw a beautiful waterfall. Everyone was really kind and guided us through the cooking, which was delicious , healthy and abundant. 10/10 experience and I believe it is a must to do when you're in chiang mai! Also, they were really keen to help and give tips about nice places to go in chiang mai”

“We had an amazing guided tour with Eco Tours Chiang Mai and would greatly recommend this company to others. We booked the "Chiang Mai: Gibbons, Trekking & Mae Kampong Small Group Tour". There were several highlights to this tour. Firstly, we were lucky to see the Gibbons with plenty of opportunities to take pictures of them. Secondly, our guides for the day knew a lot about the local flora and fauna. Along the way, we were introduced to different plants, flowers as well as herbs and their benefits. Thirdly, although the village of Mae Kampong was quite overrun with tourists when we were there on the tour, our guides led us through to places with very few tourists. We hardly encountered other tourists on the tour except from at Mae Kampong village which we only walked through swiftly. The day was very well planned and we never felt neither rushed nor bored. There was plenty of time to see the Gibbons, the waterfall and to have lunch. The guides made sure we had breaks along the way, so the hike didn't feel too hard for us (although we are not in great shape). Our guides offered to take pictures of us along the way, so we have some great pictures from this trip. Our drivers made sure we had a safe ride up and down the mountain along winding roads. This was very important to us and was very appreciated. Lunch (which was included) was a la carte at a local restaurant with local dishes. Our guide recommended the cinnamon curry as a very local dish. We tried it and a few others "family style". Very tasty! The price for the tour might seem a little high compared to other tours, but part of the money goes to support the local community as well as local wildlife and nature. We feel like we got our money's worth with this trip. We booked through "Get Your Guide" and unfortunately there was a mix-up. Dan from Eco Tours resolved it immediately and found a perfect solution. One thing to note: It is a steep hike and the paths are sometimes slippery as well as quite uneven. It is quite rocky and you should be safe on your feet to do this hike. We recommend to wear closed shoes with good grip. As the hike is up in the mountains, it can be a little colder than in Chiang Mai.”
