“I travelled to Vietnam for cosmetic surgery based on assurances given by this clinic. My sister and I both underwent facelift procedures (including neck/chin work). More than 7 months later, the results have been extremely disappointing and distressing. Instead of looking younger or refreshed, my facial skin appears more sagged than before surgery. I also developed persistent redness, painful inflammation, darkened skin, and scarring in the exact surgical areas. I had no history of acne or redness in these areas at any time in my life prior to surgery. When I raised concerns, I was repeatedly told to “wait” and that things would improve. Later, the clinic attempted to dismiss the condition as unrelated “acne” and advised me to see a dermatologist at my own cost, despite earlier statements that issues would be fixed free of charge. Independent dermatologists I consulted advised that surgery and post-surgical treatment can cause this type of damage. I asked for a clear explanation, accountability, and a written corrective plan from the surgeon, but communication has been inconsistent and responsibility has been avoided. Cosmetic surgery is life-changing and irreversible. Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering treatment here to be extremely cautious, get multiple independent opinions, and fully understand the risks before proceeding — especially if you are an overseas patient.”

“This is my third visit to the EMCAS hospital. My dentist Dr Thao, is a graduate of Harvard University (USA). She is extremely professional and has a very caring personality. I travelled from Australia to have my teeth removed due to severe gum disease. This hospital takes its duty of care extremely seriously. Before surgery, I was required to have Panoramic X-rays, ECG, Ultrasounds, and even a CAT scan and other various medical check-ups including a full assessment of my cardiovascular system to ensure that I was suitable for surgery and a general anaesthetic. My surgery went perfectly; they removed my teeth then they reconstructed my jaw by performing a bone graft and stem cell therapy. Then 12 dental posts were inserted into my jaws while under a general anaesthetic. After post operation recovery I was transferred to private room with a personal nurse to attend to my every need overnight. She attended to my every need. The next day, they started to prepare for my temporary dentures. The following day, I was discharged. Then the very next day, my first temporary teeth were installed Amazingly the whole process was painless and the temporary teeth look great! I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Thao and the team at the EMCAS Clinic.”
