What people say

“Walking around and spotted this quiet and serene cafe. Not much stuffs but a small and focused menu and some bakes. Although it’s along a busy road but it’s quiet inside. Good to chill. Got their matcha. Tasted thick but not grassy pretty decent overall.”
“Thank you for such an enjoyable visit. The coffee was amazing, but the staff were even better. My friend and I visited when it was quiet, and we were served great coffee. It is also conveniently located, just a five-minute walk from Outram Community Hospital. They usually only serve the dirty matcha iced, but kindly made an exception for my friend, which we really appreciated. Special thank you to that incredible staff we spoke to (sorry I didn’t catch your name!) She noticed my friend’s sinus issues and offered tissues, and even replaced her cup of water with 90-degree warm water on her own initiative.😂 🙏🙏 We look forward to visiting again really soon!”
“Four years late to the party, but Grey Area Coffee Roasters was worth the wait. 💎 Part camping aesthetic, part underground hole-in-the-wall, and 100% a reprieve from the sun. The Order: Iced Matcha Soy Latte + an Iced Americano (MEWA beans). The Vibe: Speakeasy, but make it specialty coffee. The Flavour: Serious pomelo and blueberry notes (MEWA). If you need me, I’ll be hiding out here until further notice. ✌️ #specialtycoffee #singaporecoffee #matchalover”
“A cozy coffee roaster tucked inside a Kampong Bahru shophouse, perfect for slowing down after lunch around the area. They feature two rotating beans for espresso, giving you a chance to explore different flavour profiles. Tried both Rio Verde and Mwangaza in a flat white — flavour notes were precise and the milk was beautifully frothed. Simple, relaxed, and great coffee to end a meal.”
“Nice coffee! Seems they are quite close with the residents around the area. Very friendly. I’d love to visit again if I stay or work nearby.”
