“This is a new spot that my husband and I were curious to try for lunch. Everyone here was friendly and professional, from the security guy outside to the staffs inside. My husband has food restrictions no alliums and garlic, the team handled our order with care, they know the food quite well and took detailed notes. The chef was happy to customize the dishes for us. The food came out delicious and high quality. I love the artistic interior here, such a beautiful bar with high ceilings. They offer a stunning big room with wide range of wine display, cozy tucked away corners, and tables arranged around the DJ set downstairs so I think whether I’m coming with a large group, or enjoying a quiet meal alone, or planning a dinner date, there’s a perfect space for every occasion. There are still many dishes we want to try, so we will def be back and would love to recommend Gu bistro to our friends for sure.”

“I usually don’t step out of my comfort zone when it comes to food — I’m usually an American guy with pretty simple chicken tender and French fries American taste — but after joking about my simple taste Luke convinced me to trust his recommendations tonight, and I’m genuinely glad I did. This 1.3m dinner ended up being one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time. We started with the Tuna Taboulé Salad, described on the menu as a “bistro style” dish, and it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was light but packed with taste and honestly the perfect way to start the meal. For the main course, I had the Lamb Navarin, a French-style lamb stew that came with rice. The lamb was tender, rich, and comforting without being overly heavy. We also added the smocked mashed potatoes on the side, which were unbelievably smooth and full of flavor — definitely worth ordering. To finish, I had the Chocolate Mousse for dessert, and it was exactly what you want after a great dinner: rich, silky, and satisfying without being too sweet. I paired everything with a glass of Riesling, which balanced the meal perfectly with its crisp acidity and light sweetness. Tonight reminded me why it’s worth trying new things. Every recommendation Luke made was spot on, and the restaurant delivered extraordinary French flavors from start to finish. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food, and an experience I’ll definitely remember. I’ll absolutely be returning.”

“The food is outstanding, and everything is elevated by the owner’s excellent wine recommendations, which create perfect pairings. Tonight, our group started with the cheeseboard, followed by the beef Rossini and the steak frites—both cooked to perfection. I finished with a trio of desserts: apple crumble, mille-feuille, and chocolate mousse. Every single bite was exceptional. Out of all the French bistros I’ve visited, this one is hands-down the best. If you love authentic French cuisine, you absolutely have to try it!”
