“I’ve known ISAO since its early days, and it has remained one of my all-time favorite places to dine. There are so many dishes I love, and I always feel confident returning because I once had the chance to speak with the owner, who is exceptionally meticulous about how sashimi and every ingredient are stored and handled. My personal favorite is the Hirame Ponsu, which I adore. The Volcano is another standout — served piping hot, with rich, flavorful sauce that pairs beautifully with the scallops. I also never miss the Winter Roll, my beloved salad roll, light yet satisfying. And of course, the Melt in Your Mouth Roll truly lives up to its name; it is as delicious and delicate as everyone says. ISAO is always on my must-visit list whenever I return to Thailand. What makes the experience even more memorable is the lovely staff — attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. Every visit leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended.”

“A really cozy sushi spot with a great atmosphere. The food is consistently fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. The sashimi portions are generous, the rolls are excellent, and everything we ordered was delicious. The Spicy Tuna Roll is our favorite and a must-try. This time we tried the Rainbow Roll and it was great. One of those places we keep coming back to whenever we’re craving good Japanese food. Highly recommended!”

“Isao is hands down my favorite sushi fusion spot. This is sushi fusion done right. I love it so much and could honestly eat here every day. One seriously underrated menu item is the Winter roll. The sauce is amazing, and I actually prefer it over the Jackie. The sushi sandwich is legendary and always delicious, never disappointing. If you love bold and creative sushi, Isao is a must try.”

“Overall a great sushi restaurant. I love the “melts in the mouth” sushi a lot. I would recommend getting a variety of sushi rolls here and share with your friends or family. There are a lot of seatings but it gets pretty busy and parking is a little challenging.”

“Lunch was amazing. Great value for money. To be honest some bites were actually amazing for any pricing level so I’m really impressed. Probably not coming back - because there is too much to see in Bangkok - but definitely recommend it.”
