What people say

“Highly recommend this local night market — a must visit when in KL. The music is lively and the atmosphere is vibrant and fun. There are so many food options to try, along with plenty of places to sit down, eat, and watch the locals. It does get busy and crowded, but that’s all part of the experience. Embrace the energy and enjoy the amazing variety of food available. Highly recommended! ✅ Visited this market once again and still absolutely loving the atmosphere here. The energy is amazing, very lively and vibrant with so much happening around you. Every visit feels enjoyable and full of life. Definitely one of my favourite places to come when in KL”
“Jalan Alor Night Market is one of the most famous street food spots in Kuala Lumpur, offering a lively and authentic night experience. The highlight is the vibrant atmosphere with red lanterns, endless food stalls, and a mix of local and international street food. Prices are reasonable for a tourist area (around RM15–RM35 per dish), but it gets very crowded at night. Best tip: walk the full street first before choosing where to sit, as quality varies between stalls. I chose to eat from the stands grilled Octopus skewers each costs around RM10 don’t buy if they tell you more, bargain and you get what you want eventually. 😎”

“Highly recommend this local night market. A must visit in KL. The music is loud and the atmosphere is lively. So many food options to try and restaurants to sit down and watch the locals. It does get busy and crowded but you must embrace the way it is here.”
“The night market was packed, and walking around in the hot, humid weather was uncomfortable. If you’re expecting a leisurely stroll, think again — it’s push-and-shove all the way. Great for soaking up the chaotic night market vibes, but not for those who prefer space and comfort.”
