What people say
“Every time a dish was served, the staff kindly explained what it was — a small but thoughtful touch that made the experience feel genuinely attentive. We ordered four a la carte for two people, and the portions were more than enough. Every dish was clean, well balanced, and simply excellent — nothing to complain about. One thing to note: the restaurant doesn't have its own parking, so we had to park at the nearby Rembrandt Hotel. That said, the restaurant provides a 4-hour complimentary parking validation, so it's not an issue at all.”
“My first experience of Coastal Indian coastal cuisine was phenomenal! Upon my arrival, Karan promptly assisted with our luggage. He walked walked us to our table & gave some us a intro of the restaurant. Really appreciated him 🙏🏻 The prelude has heightened our anticipation for what is to come. Each dish was presented exquisitely, featuring intricate flavors where every ingredient maintained its distinct character. What an ideal venue to indulge in such an extraordinary meal. Truly a wonderful dining experience in Bangkok.”
“This was my second visit to JHOL in a month. The first time I tried the chef’s menu and it was mind-blowing, to say the least. This time we went à la carte and it didn’t disappoint. The food feels deeply homey, even with the modern touches in each dish. Every plate is thoughtful, comforting and full of flavour. By the end of the meal, every cell in my body was doing a little happy dance. And only afterwards did we realise - we had ordered entirely vegetarian without even planning to.”
“JHOL Coastal Indian Cuisine presents coastal Indian cuisine in a distinctive contemporary style. The flavors are bold, layered, and full of depth. The course progression is thoughtfully balanced; even when certain dishes lean toward fusion, they still preserve the authentic character of Indian cuisine. This experience is well-suited for those seeking Indian fine dining that prioritizes true Indian flavors. “The Culinary Journey” Prelude Calicut Pepper Crab Goan Choris Pav Kolkata Dim’er Devil BFC (Berhampur Fried Chicken) Surti Anda Ghotala Kundapura Ghee Roast Crab Aam Panna Coorgi Pandi Curry Lobster Vevichathu Desserts Tender Coconut Payasam”
“This is my first experience in coastal indian cuisine and this is an exceptional first impression for me. All of the food we ordered are very impressive. We order fish and roast mutton for small starting dish, ans both are well cooked with strong spice and well balanced flavor. The main we ordered are dosa with ghee roasted chicken and alleppey mango curry. The ghee roasted chicken are very fragant with a lot of spice that was smooten with smokey butteryness of ghee. The mango curry is very unique with prominent lead of sweet and sour taste while still have enough spice and savoryness to make it work well with the accompanying rice and tapioca. The staff are very helpful and attentive as well. The place might be a little pricey, but, personally, it is well worth the price. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.”
