What people say
“The class was wonderful. We began with a visit to the market with Madi, who took us to the market and introduced us to the different fruits, vegetables, and spices. She talked about what we would be using during the class. The head chef, also named Madi, was engaging, funny, and informative and kept the class moving at a comfortable pace. He carefully explained each step and was easy to follow. The rest of the staff were always there to help and let you know what to do next. The end result was four complete dishes, as well as a peanut sauce and the Balinese spice mix we used in a few of the dishes. Everyone then sat down to eat their delicious creations. We would highly recommend the experience.”
“Had a wonderful cooking class experience! The chef and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The class was well-paced, hands-on, and easy to follow. Perfect for anyone looking for a more personal and authentic experience away from the crowds. Highly recommended if you’d like to learn how to cook traditional Balinese dishes!”
“Ketut’s cooking class was brilliant! Ketut is a vibrant instructor, and his family were so helpful during the session. Food…uhhhhh…AMAZING! We did the morning class. I would recommend if you want to do the morning class that you eat something small if you know you’ll be hungry before food is ready.”
“The class experience was really fun! We took the morning class, and before the class they took us on a quick trip to the supermarket, which was a fun experience. The place was a little dirty, but overall it was still enjoyable. They let us try some fruits and also took us to a spice market where you can buy spices and local products. The cooking class itself was amazing , all the ingredients were provided, and they guided us step by step on how to cook while teaching us about their culture and traditions. The chef was great and made the whole experience enjoyable.”
“An experience to remember! If you love cooking or at least you love eating good food, you should definitely visit Mr. Ketut’s cooking class. We loved every second of it. It included the pick up and drop off as well, which was very convenient.💛”
