What people say
“Loved the dining experience here. For a Michelin-starred restaurant it’s more affordable than you’d expect, which makes it even better value. Every dish we had was delicious and beautifully presented. The fish cakes stuffed with salted egg yolk were a standout, and the wok-burnt cabbage was surprisingly addictive. But my personal favourite was the green curry — rich, fragrant, and pairs perfectly with their rice. Service was warm and attentive from start to finish. Definitely coming back.”
“I loved my dinning experience here, even though the number on the bill was a bit high 😅 But if recalling those details, this restaurant is a nice pick especially when want to have an occasion to impress or to remember. Every dish we ordered was no doubt tasty with a lovely presentation. But would any dish stand out as the only one, probably not. The standards are there, and dining at Khao feels not only about food but about atmosphere and the service. I am impressed by the service. The waitress is stunning and super professional, and always provides attentive service, which brings the pleasant to every communication. I definitely will visit this place again!”
“High quality meal and experience. The kind and attentive staff brought us the best gaeng kiew wan gai (green curry) I have had in my trips to Thailand - perfect balance of herbaceous, creamy, sweet and spicy. The khao niew ma muang (mango sticky rice) was perfect: salted coconut cream, fresh sweet mango and perfect balanced sweet sticky rice. Dreaming of it!!”
“A Michelin one star Thai cuisine restaurant. A good place for tourists with limited time to experience the soul of Thai food in fine dining setting. Price is almost 2x compare to those famous Thai restaurants in shopping mall. Overall food is nice esp presentation. And must try their desserts variety.”
“We decided to visit because of the Michelin star. The interior is very pretty, and the waitresses and everyone around were kind and welcoming. The food presentation was good, but unfortunately the taste didn’t live up to it. It wasn’t the worst food I have had but it’s also not something I will remember. Many of the dishes felt like they were lacking in flavor. It wasn’t bad, just nothing special. The prices are quite high compared to other places, and after we finished, we felt quite disappointed.”
