What people say
“We came here for a birthday with family and we got a private room for our korean bbq. The food is really good here and I would definitely recommend the bbq. The meat is very nicely marinated and staff will stand at the table and grill the meats for you and then place them on a sharing plate to enjoy. As a traditional korean restaurant, they provide multiple side dishes and salad leaves to wrap the grilled meats. It's a lovely place to gather with family and friends but make a reservation in advance as it can get busy here.”
“Ko Kung Korean Restaurant (โคคุง) was a fantastic experience. The owner personally greeted us and the staff were genuinely welcoming. We also loved that they provide aprons (we don’t get that in our home country!) and the team even BBQ’d the meat for us at the table. The charcoal grill makes a huge difference—easily some of the best Korean BBQ we’ve had. The side dishes were amazing too. Highly recommend!”
“Traditional Korean food such as kimbap was very tasty. Charcoal preparation Sirloin and Tenderloin you will think of Seoul. Friendly staff and owner.”
“My Korean friend brought me to this restaurant, saying it serves authentic Korean food. We got a private room on the second floor, which made the experience more intimate. The owner, a Korean lady, personally came to recommend the dishes. All the dishes were ordered by my friend. We started with Bossam, which is pork belly served with vegetables and side dishes. You’re supposed to wrap everything together and eat it in one bite. The pork was tender. Then there was marinated beef, which they grilled for us. The flavor of the marinade was just right. We also had Mayak Gimbap, which, to me, was okay but not very exciting. Additionally, we had Teokbokki, pancakes, and steamed eggs. The flavors here seemed to be milder compared to other Korean restaurants, likely adjusted to suit Thai palates. However, this place is run by real Koreans, and the food is cooked in authentic Korean style. What impressed me the most, aside from the owner's attentive service, were the side dishes. The owner makes them herself, and the kimchi was delicious. Plus, the side dishes are refillable. As for drinks, my Korean friend ordered Baekseju, which the bottle labeled as Korean wine. It had a smooth and mild taste. We also ordered soju, beer as to mixed with Sprite to make a soju bomb, Korean style. Overall, it was a delightful experience of enjoying authentic Korean food without having to travel far.”
“Had no idea there was a Korean BBQ spot on Sukhumvit 26, we tried it out since they’ve got a parking garage out back, and it turned out to be a solid spot. Tasty BBQ with lots of side dishes, but the beef is a bit tough. The place looks clean but a bit old, and the A/C wasn’t working too well, so it got a little hot.”
