What people say

“Incredible plant-based meal! The Yee Sang was so fresh and flavorful, and the Mushroom Popcorn was the perfect crispy, addictive snack. The Nori-wrapped fried rice was a creative highlight. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend for anyone in Bukit Bintang!”
“Visited Kusa Vegan at Bukit Bintang for dinner, and this vegan restaurant has a comfortable setting with a relaxing ambience. The food was generally okay. We ordered the sushi platter, spicy ramen (level 3 and level 4), a salad, a porridge, and vegan tiramisu. Among all the dishes, the ramen stood out the most in terms of flavour. However, the spiciness didn’t quite match expectations, as both levels were not spicy at all. Service wise, there is some room for improvement. The staff came across not very engaging or warm, and it would have felt more welcoming with a bit more attentiveness and friendliness. Overall, it’s still a decent place for vegan options, but with some improvements in service, the experience could be much better.”
“I think this is my first 3 star review! We enjoyed some parts of this dining experience although we ordered a 59 rm sushi platter with Mango not available and the strawberry sushi as a replacement. Unfortunately at the end when we paid, the staff said he made a mistake and left it at that. Problem was that it was replaced with more of the same of a single sushi platter we ordered so we ended up eating mostly one type of sushi. The herbal soup was nice but it was definitely not a strong herbal soup and mainly more soya sauce based. The passionfruit drink was really tasty. All in all we had hoped to have a better experience. The night was capped off with a family and incredibly noisy screamy crying child who was left to cry which ended the dinner feeling less calm then when we entered. I think the staff member could be more attentive, we don't usually expect much but we didn't even get water for our table.”
“Amazing restaurant for vegetarians/vegans to try Japanese food. All the food was tasty. Kids loved the mushroom popcorn. We ordered all in one and got to try all types of sushi. Must try for vegans. We were trying ramen for the first time and Kusa ramen was fantastic.”
“Nice and cozy environment. The food is decent, but the sushi portions are quite small. There is basement parking available at a reasonable rate; however, it is very dimly lit and not advisable to go alone.”
