“It started in 2023 when La Theoz offered their services to us for finding tenants to our condominium units. Christine has done exceptionally well in finding us the right tenants for 2 of our properties. But not until Christine left La Theoz and everything started going sideways. Nobody was assisting the tenants anymore during their move out and we as good landlords have to do this ourselves. The tenant’s concerns on the property were not being proactively relayed to us and this gave the tenant a wrong impression on how we are as landlords. We are very considerate landlords to those who have experienced renting with us and extend our services outside of the what contract requires. We have been in the rental business for nearly 15 years and just like any other businesses we protect our investments and credibility as good landlords. Just recently, La Theoz gave us a tenant who does honor the signed rental agreement and is verbally abusive by calling us “greedy” and “overpriced”. The tenant smokes inside our fully furnished condominium unit which is strictly prohibited, does not pay his water bills timely, refused to pay the power consumption he consumed, and damaged a few of our appliances demanding new replacement. Tenant has technically breached the contract and we have to pre-terminate in accordance with the signed agreement. La Theoz was nowhere to be found assisting us on this turbulent times and even suggested allowing the tenant to stay despite all the damages caused to us.”
