“We visited Lantern @ The Fullerton Hotel early in the afternoon so it was empty and that gave us a quiet time there. It’s an amazing rooftop bar with a beautiful view across the little bay. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Drinks were.. NEGRONI (45 DAYS AGED) London Dry Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth It was perfection rich and bitter sweet with excellent balance. Their ice game was also perfect which is a tiny detail but just adds to the overall experience. Lychee Martini Lychee Juice, Vodka, Grand Marnier. Excellent drink with great flavours served ice cold! Aperol Spritz Great drink presented well, no surprises there. Campari Soda A simple drink and one I find so very refreshing. Tried the share platter which was very good. Chicken wings, Chips and crisps with some dip. Overall a wonderful experience. Definitely want to go back. Stay at the hotel if I win the lottery. Ha ha..”

“I went to Lantern Bar for the first time, and honestly it was such a great experience from start to finish. We were initially seated at a decent table, but the staff kept checking in on us and later moved us to an even better spot with a really nice view. Since it was my first time there, that kind of attention already made a really good impression on me — it felt like they genuinely cared about the guest experience. Kylar was definitely the highlight of the night. From the very first welcome and introduction, everything felt warm, natural, and genuinely sincere. It never felt scripted at all. Throughout the night, he kept checking in on us in such a thoughtful way — not too much, not too little — just enough to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying everything. His attitude and energy really made the whole experience stand out for me. Uriel was also very helpful and responsive whenever we needed anything, especially with payment and small requests. Everything was handled quickly and smoothly, which made the night feel really effortless. The food was good, drinks came out fast, and everything just flowed really well overall. Overall, for my first time at Lantern Bar, it left a really strong impression. It felt like genuinely thoughtful service rather than just standard hospitality. Kylar especially made the experience memorable, and I really appreciate both him and Uriel for taking such good care of us. I’d definitely love to come back again.”

“I recently visited this rooftop restaurant and the highlight is undeniably the view. The location offers a stunning panorama over Marina Bay, with a clear sight of the Marina Bay Sands skyline, the Singapore Flyer, and the entire bay area. From far, it’s even possible to catch the light show happening by the shoppes shopping mall, which adds a special touch to the overall experience. It’s definitely a beautiful setting, especially for sunset or evening drinks. That said, the overall experience fell short of expectations. We specifically chose this venue after being told there would be Brazilian funk music, but unfortunately, not a single Brazilian track was played throughout the evening, nor they offered real Brazilian food, which was disappointing. The food also left much to be desired, both in terms of flavor and overall quality. In addition, the service was quite poor in terms of communication and speed. It was slow, inattentive, and challenging due to communication barriers, as the staff struggled to speak English, making it difficult to ask questions or clarify orders. While I wouldn’t return for a full dining experience, I would consider coming back for a drink, purely to enjoy the incredible view, which is truly the main attraction.”
