Mameow Cat Café

“Mameow is a small but incredibly charming cat cafe tucked away in Bangkok. The moment you walk in it feels intimate, cat trees, cozy seating for guests and cats everywhere you look. It’s the kind of place that feels like someone’s home. The owner is always there and she is so lovely. She speaks English, she genuinely cares about every single one of her cats and it shows in everything she does. She even brought out a brush so I got to groom them myself, that was such a special touch. The Thai milk tea was authentic and delicious. You can also buy treats to feed the cats and the Sphinx, Scottish Shorthair, Maine Coon and British Longhair were absolutely obsessed with them, so entertaining to watch. The breeds here are incredible. A Maine Coon, a few Persians who are super affectionate, a British Longhair with the most stunning green eyes who absolutely loves belly rubs and back scratches, a black and grey Munchkin (she loves to stand on her two back feet when wanting treats just like a little rabbit haha so cute and loves to sit next to you), a red tabby cat, a Scottish Shorthair, and a Sphinx cat. The Sphinx was unlike anything I’d seen before. Hairless with soft wrinkly skin that felt just like touching a warm human arm, with a little bit of fuzz towards the back. So unique and oddly adorable. They also have an exercise area for the cats which shows how much thought the owner puts into their wellbeing. I stayed 3 to 4 hours and honestly could have stayed longer. If you’re in Bangkok this one is absolutely worth your time.”
