“So I saw this place on TikTok and, given how viral it was with so many positive reviews, I decided to check it out for myself. I paid around 1 million VND for a two-hour experience including a massage, hair wash, and facial cleansing treatment. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. For the price point, I expected a much more premium and relaxing experience. Instead, I was placed directly beside two other strangers with very little privacy, which surprised me considering I’ve had far more private setups at similar or even lower prices elsewhere. What also made the experience difficult to relax into was the constant sound of the sink running directly behind me throughout the treatment. It genuinely ruined the atmosphere and made it hard to fully switch off and enjoy the massage. The massage itself was inconsistent too. You’re asked beforehand what pressure you prefer, but throughout the session the pressure kept changing from extremely soft to very firm and back again without much consistency or check-in from the masseuse. A little more attentiveness would have made a big difference. Having previously lived in Vietnam, I’m also very familiar with the standard of massages and hair wash treatments here, especially at this kind of premium price point, which is another reason why I left feeling disappointed. To be completely honest, even the hair wash itself was underwhelming compared to many other places I’ve visited in Vietnam. It didn’t feel particularly thorough, relaxing, or detailed. When it came to drying my hair afterwards, there was barely any proper brushing or styling, so my hair ended up looking frizzy and messy by the end of the experience. The massage itself also felt inconsistent throughout. Despite booking a full-body treatment and specifically requesting more focus on my feet and legs, the masseuse repeatedly kept returning to my back over and over again while largely neglecting the areas I had actually asked to prioritise. Because of this, I genuinely woke up with quite a bit of back pain afterwards, which was frustrating because repeatedly overworking the same area continuously during a massage is not always comfortable or beneficial. Overall, the entire experience just felt surprisingly underwhelming for the price paid, and unfortunately I left feeling more disappointed than relaxed. I also found it frustrating that they don’t clearly communicate that payment is essentially cash-only. I paid part cash, but for the remainder I had to use PayPal in USD with an added 5% fee, which felt really strange for such a tourist-heavy and highly advertised place. This should absolutely be made clear beforehand on their website or WhatsApp. There was also confusion over my treatment package when I arrived, and I had to correct them on what I had actually booked. Again, for a place positioning itself as a premium experience, I expected more attention to detail and organisation. At the price point I paid, I specifically wanted to avoid the “factory-like” experience of people lined up beside each other with very little privacy, the kind of environment where you expect a cheaper, more basic service and simply get what you pay for. That is exactly why I chose to spend around 1 million VND here in the first place. Unfortunately, the experience still felt very crowded and impersonal, which completely defeated the purpose for me. Had this been made clearer beforehand, I honestly would not have chosen to book here. Overall, I don’t think the experience justified the price, and I probably wouldn’t return. Honestly, next time I’d rather just wander around locally and try a smaller place instead.”
