“Very disappointing experience. I originally came in for a regular Thai massage (400 THB), but the receptionist strongly recommended the 60-minute Deep Tissue Thai Massage instead (500 THB), explaining that it included balm and oil treatment. Based on that recommendation, I decided to pay the extra 100 THB and book the more expensive treatment. Unfortunately, the first therapist spent around 15 minutes doing little more than repeatedly pressing with her palms. There was no real Thai massage technique, no variation, and neither oil nor balm was used. I have had many Thai massages over the years and, during the last two weeks alone travelling through Thailand, I have had Thai massages almost daily. Because of that, I felt confident that what I was receiving was not the treatment that I had booked and expected. During the session, I gave feedback several times. After a few minutes, I politely asked for stronger pressure, hoping that this might improve the treatment. When nothing changed, I explained that my concern was not only the pressure but also the lack of technique and variation, as the same movement was being repeated continuously. When the situation still did not improve, I raised the issue a third time and explained that the treatment was not what I had expected based on what had been recommended to me. Only after my third complaint was another therapist brought in. The second therapist was much better and immediately started providing an actual Thai massage. She used balm from the beginning and delivered the type of treatment I had originally paid for. However, she only treated me for the remaining 45 minutes. The first 15 minutes were never added back to the session or compensated in any way. What disappointed me most was the response afterwards from the receptionist, who had originally recommended the more expensive treatment and had also taken payment in advance before the session even began. When I explained that I had paid for a 60-minute Deep Tissue Thai Massage but had only received 45 minutes of the treatment that had been advertised to me, I was told that I should have requested a therapist change within the first five minutes. I find that unreasonable. As a customer, I cannot know after only a few minutes whether a therapist is simply starting slowly or whether the entire treatment will continue in the same way. Instead of an apology, a partial refund, a short extension of the session, or any customer-oriented solution, I was effectively blamed for not requesting a replacement therapist sooner. The amount itself is not the issue. What matters is how the complaint was handled. The second therapist deserves credit, which is the only reason this review is not even lower. Unfortunately, the complete lack of customer care, accountability, and willingness to resolve the issue means that I will not return and cannot recommend this place to others.”
