“We visited this ramen shop shortly after it opened in the morning and were promptly greeted by the staff, which made for a pleasant start. While the service was friendly, the staff could improve on how they introduce and recommend dishes to first-time customers. That said, I appreciated that they were able to communicate in Chinese, which made ordering easier. We ordered the Yakiago Special and the Yakiago Miso Ramen. Before our meals arrived, we were served a small portion of dashi made from grilled flying fish. This was a wonderful touch — the broth was light yet deeply flavorful and set high expectations for the ramen to come. Unfortunately, the ramen itself did not quite live up to that first impression. The soups were noticeably over-seasoned, with the Miso Ramen being even saltier than the Yakiago Special. On the positive side, both the noodles and the meat were excellent, offering good texture and flavor that showed real care in preparation. Overall, the experience had its highlights, but the overly salty broth may not suit everyone. Those with kidney concerns or high blood pressure may want to avoid the soup unless they enjoy stronger seasoning.”
“We went Takahashi Ramen with four friends. I had the special grilled flying fish (ago) salt ramen, and it was absolutely delicious and light 👍 Definitely worth coming back 😋 I was also happy that free green tea (hot or cold) is included. One of my friends ordered the ochazuke set. The staff recommended pouring the ramen soup over the rice for the ochazuke, but she felt that adding wasabi and rice crackers (arare) to the ramen soup might not match well. So instead, she used the small cup of soup that was served at the beginning and made her ochazuke with that. The flavor of the wasabi and arare stood out nicely, and she said it was very tasty.”
“Came here after a friend of mine told me that they had already open an outlet here in M'sia ! Nice and service were top notch and the outlet manager (different uniform) were friendly and welcoming too. The only down side is that the soup given in a small cup were already cold. I've asked for it again and it's hot. Besides that, I like it with the noodle texture harder for the bite feel. I like my ramen noodle harder. Ramen soup based can opt for original or less saltier. It's naturally from the fish's saltiness. Do asked for hot green tea along... Nice~”
“Very authentic Japanese Ramen. Thanks to Chef Nozomu for the great service and recommendation. Great atmosphere. Also soup base is very rare. Very recommended if you your are ramen person.”
“I’ve been here a few times, the ramen is good. However, the staff service quality had worsened since opening. From last two visits, the “welcome dashi" were only half-full—a regrettable gesture that makes me feel only half as welcome as before.”
