What people say

“I loved and enjoyed my first time here! The food was immaculate and incredibly fresh! Absolutely the best toro and wagyu I’ve ever had. The service was impeccable on top of that which truly elevates my experience. I’ll definitely be back and be recommending this place. JD and bartender John were awesome. The staff were super friendly, warm, and welcoming. Everything about the place was just so inviting. Every penny was worth it. ₽7.6K w/ service charge. I tipped an extra 500₽ bc they were amazing. 15/10 would recommend.”
“Celebrated Mother’s Day here and it was all worth it! 🤍 Every dish was so good. We spent around 4,000+ and honestly, sulit na sulit. Will definitely come back! They also gave complimentary dessert, and my son absolutely loved it 🤍”
“Sakagura – Lunch Review Stopped into Sakagura for lunch and had a pleasant, relaxed experience overall. We started with a bottle of sake, which the restaurant presented in a thoughtful and creative way. The server poured the first glass using a vessel that held ice to keep the sake chilled, while the rest of the bottle was kept on ice at the table. It was a small touch, but one that showed attention to detail and helped maintain the proper temperature throughout the meal. For food, we began with the toro sashimi. It ate more like chu-toro than the richer o-toro that we were expecting, and the fish had been cut along the sinew, which made parts of it a bit chewy. It wasn’t bad by any means, but compared with the other dishes it felt like the least memorable item of the meal. The beef tataki, on the other hand, was excellent. Lightly seared and served with soy and a dab of the house sauce, it was flavorful and nicely balanced. The standout dish was the seared black cod. Cooked over coals and finished with a sweet miso-soy glaze, the fish was beautifully fleshy and deeply satisfying — easily the highlight of the lunch. Service throughout was friendly, efficient, and personal without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed feel of the meal. Overall, while not every dish was perfect, the strong execution on the mains and the warm service made it an enjoyable visit. I’d happily return to Sakagura again.”
“After hearing the great reviews, we had to try it for our ourselves. The warm welcome by John and Daisy Made us feel like we were regular customers! After starting with a sake sampler, we began exploring the menu. Nothing disappointed! Every taste, texture, and aroma was a completely new and satisfying experience. We cannot wait to visit again. Thank you for making our 26th anniversary evening one to remember!”
“I felt like being in Japan! Sashimi rollin, they are not hatin.. Great quality. Fresh from the ocean to your mouth. Great atmosphere but very intimate. It is a super tiny small restaurant. So I recommend to reserve some seats that you prefer beforehands. We at a lot from Arabiki Sausage to Trout Kama and Kanpachi sashimi which was pricy but good. Price value was a bit off with 7630 Pesos (123 Dollars) for 2 people without alcohol. Our visit was in August 2025.”
