“The food is awesome. It’s better than most Korean BBQ places I have been to in Korea itself. We inquired about the chef and he is in fast from Korea. The food was amazing. Served hot on stone/granite plates. The food stayed hot for the entire meal. Ingredients were exceptional also. Sauces used in the octopus dish were remarkably good. Stay was very polite and excellent English if you need that. I don’t think you will have any regrets eating here. Place was clean also. There was one potential safety issue (in pictures) where the plugs for the table side cook top the covers were missing and exposed. So don’t stick you toes in there if you’re wearing sandals. We also noticed a free desert for a 5 star review after we arrived and were half way through the meal. We don’t order or receive any gifts for our review. It did feel the high rating of 4.9 was in fact earned so not sure why they were making this offer - so take that for what it’s worth.”

“Luxury Without the Price Tag — A Hidden Gem Dining at this restaurant was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The atmosphere is refined and elegant — tasteful décor, and a calm, upscale vibe that instantly makes you feel like you’re somewhere special. The quality of the food was outstanding — every dish was beautifully presented and tasted fabulous. We had the meal for four and the meal for two and lived every dish we received. What truly set the experience apart was the service. We felt genuinely cared for throughout the meal. My only criticism is that the servers sometimes removed the remaining morsels more quickly than we would have liked. The biggest surprise of all is the price. For the level of quality, ambiance, and service we received, the value was exceptional. It’s rare to find a place that feels this luxurious without the hefty bill at the end. Highly recommended.”

“Pretty authentic Korean cuisine - KimChi & pickles spot-on, usually good indications that their soup range would be excellent since fermented soy paste is used to make one of the more popular soups/stews on the menus. Tastefully decorated, not surprising since their flag store is in ApGuJeong Dong, one of more exclusive suburbs in GangNam, Seoul. Attentative service from likes of Ngoc Anh, whose bright smile greeted us 2 days in a row. Seems popular with the locals also, many tables appear reserved with Vietnamese names on the tags.”

“I went to the restaurant with a friend after the shops had closed and received a very warm welcome. One of the servers was extremely helpful and still let us order food. We were allowed to wait in the restaurant, and a lovely waitress even gave us a glass of water. We also received extra side dishes, and the food was simply fantastic, not only in taste but also in presentation. Definitely go!!! Service & food 12/10!”

“I tried Samwon Garden before and it’s my first time at this new venue of Samwonjung, and absolutely love this place. Meat quality was top-notch and flavorful, with plenty of fresh side dishes, especially the kimchi and pickled radish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to help with the grill or offer recommendations. The ambiance was cozy and clean, making it a great spot for both casual lunch, dinner and special occasions. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Korean BBQ with excellent service!”
