What people say
“One of the best ramen spots in town. Handmade noodles, delicious broth and flavors. Chill environment. Highly recommend the Tantanman Ramen! Tasty meat and egg with an almond touch. Wow.”
“Top-tier ramen with high-quality ingredients. The soup is rich, the pork is tender, and the service is excellent. It’s a popular spot, so there might be a queue, but it’s definitely worth the wait. One of the most consistent and delicious ramen spots in the city”
“If you’re into traditional Japanese ramen, this is not it. It’s not bad but just not the same as Japanese. The noodles taste pretty light, and the soup is not as thick. The service is good, but seems no one speaks English there, they keep speaking Thai to us even know we are foreigners. Overall it’s ok if you just want some ramen but don’t expect the taste in Japan.”
“Honestly for the price it's excellent. I'm being harsh here. Tonkotsu ramen Broth - 4.25 stars Thick luscious broth. Slightly on the sweet side. Charred chashu - 4 stars Lovely char. Excellent texture. Marinade too sweet. Boiled chashu - 3.75 stars Excellent texture. Marinade too sweet. Noodles - 3 stars Would ask for this to be harder if possible. Too hard. Tonkotsu ramen black Broth - 4.5 stars Saltier and more garlicky than the regular tonkotsu broth. Rest of ingredients same as the other bowl.”
“This is a ramen spot popular with Thai people. It has booths for 4, a few tables for 2, and a single booth to fit more people. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The specialty ramens come in large bowls, others are smaller. On the table is fresh garlic to add to your liking. We had shoyu ramen: flavorful with 3 slices of different meats and a soft-boiled egg. Noodles a bit too firm. Chicken karaage was perfect with crispy outside of juicy bits of chicken (eaten before we could take a photo). Plan to spend THB 200-300 pP without alcohol. We would come again but probably make a reservation next time …”
