“The restaurant offers variety of Chinese dishes, especially many choices of dim sum. Through the prices are rather expensive after added with taxes. The place is clean, welcoming and nicely decorated. During peak times like on the weekends, the place is very busy and often has to wait for a table. Staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, Sevensea is a good dim sum place, highly recommend to come.”

“The food was so impressive I wanted to see the chefs. Every dishes were so amazing. The staffs are all so nice. I love this restaurant so much and would love to come back to test every items of the menu. There is a book about the Seven Seas sold in the hotel and I understand why the restaurant is so good. “I alway love the dimsum in this restaurant but we have bad experiences on last Sunday. We were there about 9.45 am, most of the table are not clean and it is not ready to welcome clients. They just clean the table in 3 second. We accept it cause it might be crowded in the morning and staff are working hard and they are so tired so they cannot set up the table as the standard. We have bad luck to eat a STABLE in my food. I am so shock. I am not sure that how many staple have I eat. The restaurant assistant manager have just said sorry. They didnot ask do I have got hurt or something happen to me. Big things have been done that they removed the food from the bill. It will be my last visit from your.”

“I was surprised to find out that this restaurant actually had a different name a few months/ almost a year ago. By looking at the menu un detail, I didn’t see any difference between the old restaurant (almond hotel) and sevensea restaurant, except for the cover page. I gave 3 stars because the staff was very polite, friendly and professional. But the valet outside the restaurant helping customers park their cars provided us a mediocre service. In addition, the glass noodles were undercooked ans the fish balls seemed to contain more flour than fish meat. Same form beef balls. The soup was also too sweet and seemed to contain too much glutamate. Given all these elements, I advise you to go to smaller restaurants if you want to eat glass noodles/ kuy teow. Because the cuisine will be much more authentic. However, the dim sum were better than last time, as we were served overcooked deep fried prawns with mayonnaise. On the contrary, if you want to eat dim sum, this is the right place to go and you won’t be disappointed by there creative dim sum, slightly different from traditional dim sum, lots of fried food, mayonnaise in some dim sum, in short with a western inspiration. Finally, we came here enough times to say that the quality can vary from one visit to another, especially depending on the the influx of customers, the dishes served can also be overcooked, undercooked or not fresh. it's unfortunate not to have a consistent quality for a restaurant that presents itself in the high end with jazz music.”

“Sevensea and a very good Cantonese style Chinese food restaurant. Fresh fish, crabs, etc. The crispy skin Cantonese duck was very delicious, and eggplant fried in iron pan also was very good. Large selection of wines available. Staff was professional.”
