What people say

“Tried Shabu Days at Hillion Mall recently and it was such a pleasant surprise! It’s a solo hotpot concept, which I found really nice for a simple and comfortable meal. The ingredients were fresh, especially the meat which is thinly sliced and cooks quickly. I tried a few broths and personally preferred the bonito kombu, it gets more flavourful as you cook and goes really well with the meat. What I really enjoyed was the DIY egg risotto at the end. Using the leftover broth with rice and egg, it turns into a creamy, comforting finish that makes the whole meal feel more complete. Also wanted to highlight the service. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Honestly didn’t expect this level of service in a food hall setting, so I was very impressed.”
“Really enjoyed this individual hot pot place! The soup base is rich and flavorful, and you can tell the meat is freshly cut — super tender and good quality. I like that everyone gets their own pot, so it feels more hygienic and you can choose your own soup and ingredients. The ingredients are fresh, portions are decent, and the overall experience is very satisfying. Great spot if you’re craving hot pot without sharing. Will definitely come back again!”
“Quite an interesting one to be found at a food court! It does taste like that of a restaurant and the broths are all quite good as well. Got the kombu one as I felt like it would go really well for the add on risotto at the end - and it was perfect!”
“Amazing food with good portion size. Definitely will come back. service is very good, the staff came multiple times to check on us and ask if we needed a soup refill! Comfort meal”
“I happened to chance upon this stall at Hillion Mall’s Kopitiam and decided to give it a try—and wow, what a pleasant surprise! The taste easily beats most of the steamboat places I’ve tried in Singapore. I ordered the bonito kombu broth with A5 wagyu and chicken thigh, and everything was excellent. The broth was rich and flavourful, and the ingredients were fresh. The A5 wagyu in particular was one of the best I’ve ever had—super tender, melt-in-your-mouth, and absolutely worth it. The egg risotto was also a standout—creamy, comforting, and a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Definitely one of the best shabu spots around!”
