What people say
“A special Christmas treat from our twin boys! This Michelin one-star restaurant, located on the 11th floor of the Vie Hotel, delivered an unforgettable, theatrical dining experience. We were welcomed by the reception team and taken to a stylish waiting lounge where we enjoyed canapés and captured sunset photos. The restaurant interior is stunning and perfectly sets the scene for the incredible food journey ahead. The waiting staff were superb—friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The open kitchen allows you to watch Chef Thierry and his team in action, which adds even more excitement to the experience. We chose the 8-course Bouquet Discovery Menu and were seated at a fabulous table. Each dish was a work of art and a celebration of finest French ingredients. The sourdough bread with apple cider vinegar and honey—served alongside sensational butter mixed with bacon and onion marmalade—was to die for! Canapés were delightful, with the oyster being a standout. Starters included butternut squash soup with chestnut ice cream, scallop in consommé, and crispy lobster—each one delicious. Mains featured grilled brill with truffle and venison with artichoke; both were exquisite. Cheese selection was impressive and included at no extra charge. Desserts offered crepe suzette, mille-feuille, and a refreshing grapefruit and raspberry dessert with jasmine and lychee granita. We finished with a theatrical finale: a delicate chocolate egg filled with sweet treats, followed by dessert petits fours that were an absolute delight. And if that wasn’t enough, a small treat bag with a brioche cake was presented with the bill. The talent in this kitchen is sensational, the value is excellent, and the overall experience was truly exceptional—worthy of two stars in our opinion. Service was immaculate from start to finish. Highly recommended.”
“Our first time in a michelin starred french themed restaurant and found the whole experience rather awesome. The great length the chef went to , to make the various delicacies is inspiring, making every morsel special. The kind staff spared no efforts in explaining the ingredients and recipes. We enjoyed every dish, including the many types of cheeses offered. Certainly a very memorable evening.”
“My husband and I visited this Michelin-star restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly unforgettable. We enjoyed a phenomenal 5-course meal where every dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and full of amazing flavours. From edible flowers to indelible flavours, it was perfect! The service was equally outstanding. All the staff and in particular, Bastien took such wonderful care of us from start to finish : warm, attentive, full of knowledge and genuinely thoughtful. The entire team made the evening feel extra special, and we are so grateful for the impeccable hospitality. It was one of the most memorable birthday dinners I’ve ever had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience paired with top-tier service. We will definitely be back!”
“Special treat from an old friend on a cool autumn evening. This Michelin one star restaurant is located on the 11th floor of the Vie hotel and dining here was a theatrical experience. We were greeted by the reception staff to a waiting lounge where canapés were served. Our server, Bhanu, is knowledgable and hospitable, a good story teller who helped us to understand Chef Thierry’s art. After being seated in the main dining area the curtains were drawn, revealing the open kitchen with the Chef abs his crew. It’s like watching Master Chef tv show except that everyone was calm and focused. We had the five course menu and I had the 2019 domaine Nathalie (?) from Pauillac, a rich, complex wine. Each serving is a work of art stimulating all senses like a gallery exhibit, even the sour dough bread with apple juice and honey from Ching mai unveiled complex layers of sensations from the crispy crust, chewy dough scented with honey, apple juice and finally the poppy seeds and sent sparkle to my teeth. The service was immaculate. Deserves more than one star !”
“A former 2-star chef delivering light and exquisite modern French and floral cuisine. Every dish was well plated and full of umami. Seasonal fresh ingredients sourced. Welcoming and attentive service.”
