What people say

“Sikgaek is truly a long-standing institution for Korean cuisine in Phnom Penh, and it’s easy to see why it has maintained its reputation over the years. Their beef diaphragm (skirt steak) is exceptionally flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection, making it an absolute must-try. Equally impressive is the Al Tang (fish egg soup) — comforting, rich in umami, and authentically seasoned. The banchan (side dishes) are delicious and well-prepared, reflecting the care taken in every aspect of the meal. If you find the portions small, the staff are attentive and happy to provide additional servings, enhancing the overall dining experience. Service is consistently friendly and professional, creating a welcoming environment for both regular diners and newcomers. The ambiance is casual yet authentic, making it suitable for family meals, casual gatherings, or anyone seeking genuine Korean flavors in Phnom Penh. Overall, Sikgaek delivers high-quality, authentic Korean dishes with attentive service. It’s a highly recommended destination for anyone serious about Korean cuisine in the city”
“Nice Korean food. Only private rooms, quite impressive setting up. We had a nice abalone porridge. Soup and fish were nice. Next we will try the BBQ. Staff service is excellent they respond really quick. English command is fair. Be patient. My suggestion is for the restaurant to also clean the chairs not only tables. They feel greasy and normally have some stain of food.”
“Even though we only tasted two items, the quality, quantity, and flavour were all satisfactory. We haven't been here in a very long time, but the renovations seem more welcoming and better. If you're in the mood for altang (명란젓찌게), it tasted delicious and didn't taste fishy”
“Cambodia staff is nice. Food quite ok”
“Decent side dish, kimch jigae was a bit sour (kimchi was too old I guess). The marinated pork tastes great, but I’ve had better samgyeopsal! Fast service.”
