What people say

“If you need urgent medical assistance, I truly recommend this hospital. Their service is fast, attentive, and completely different from the previous government hospital I went to. After waiting for 4 hours in government hospital and they were still busy n could not take care of me, I decided to take the initiative and go to this hospital myself, I’m so glad I did. I needed urgent surgery because the bleeding wouldn’t stop. The team here was very professional, they immediately called the doctor and performed the surgery at 3 AM. A special thank you to Dr. Komang Sena Adistira Artha, who took care of my surgery. He is very kind, explains everything clearly, and the surgery went well. I didn’t feel any pain, thanks also to the anesthesiologist. The nurses check on me every 1-2 hours, and I feel truly safe and well taken care of here. The cost is higher, but it’s absolutely worth it for the quality of service they provide. Thank you, Siloam Bali Hospital. You are the only hospital I trust in Bali.”

“Reckless medical practices and toxic, money-driven administration ❌🤰🏽 I had an absolutely appalling and deeply traumatizing experience at Siloam Hospitals Denpasar (Sunset Road). I was rushed to the ER at 2:00 AM on Saturday morning, 24 weeks pregnant, experiencing uterine tightenings. Instead of prioritizing patient care, safety, and diagnostic accuracy, this hospital proved to be purely money-driven and medically reckless. Initially, a nurse stayed with me to monitor if I was having active contractions, and I had absolutely none during that monitoring period. Despite my uterus being completely quiet and showing no signs of labor, the medical staff still aggressively pushed to inject me with high-stakes medications—including heavy labor-stopping drugs and corticosteroids—before they had even performed an ultrasound or received my blood and urine laboratory results. They were determined to pump my system with dangerous drugs without any physical or diagnostic justification. Because I held my ground and insisted on waiting for my diagnostics, it was later revealed that my initial tightenings were simply triggered by severe physical dehydration and a minor UTI—not actual preterm labor. A simple IV line settled my system completely. If I had listened to them, they would have pumped my body and my baby full of unnecessary, intense medications completely blindly. The administrative and billing department was even worse. They were incredibly pushy, aggressively demanding massive payments upfront while I was mid-crisis and still waiting for basic test results. Even after my international health insurance officially stepped in, approved the case, and explicitly informed the hospital that they would cover the fees, the hospital completely ignored them. They refused to reply to my insurance company, refused to send them the bill as requested, and held me hostage in the ER for an extra 3 hours solely over administrative greed. I spent a grueling 13 hours in the ER (from 2:00 AM to 3:00 PM) dealing with horrific communication and intense financial harassment, all while trying to protect my pregnancy completely alone. In the end, I was never even admitted to a ward, and I had to make the executive decision to walk out of the hospital myself just to escape the toxic environment. The treatment here caused me a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress during a high-risk medical emergency. I will absolutely never go back to this facility, and I strongly warn any expats, tourists, or pregnant winds to avoid this place at all costs.”
“I want to publicly document this situation. After receiving medical treatment at the clinic (spinal fracture), a deposit was taken from us. According to the clinic’s own policies, the refund period is up to 14 days. In reality: – more than two months have passed – the money has not been refunded – all communication is conducted via WhatsApp – responses contain no specific timelines, only formal replies For a private medical clinic, such an approach to financial obligations is unacceptable. If the issue cannot be resolved privately, the only remaining options are public disclosure and further legal steps.”
“I was treated at Siloam Hospital for six weeks and felt very well cared for throughout my stay. The entire medical team works at an exceptionally high level. What stood out to me most was not only their expertise, but also their patience, dedication, and the genuine compassion they showed in every interaction. I also felt mostly well supported on an organizational level. Whenever I had questions or needed help, I was met with kindness and reliability. And for sure the kitchen also played an important role in my recovery. I was able to share my wishes each day and choose what and when I wanted to eat. The meals were individually tailored, of very high quality, and prepared with great care and love. I am deeply grateful for the care I received and can wholeheartedly recommend this facility. Thank you dear entire Siloam Team for taking such good care of me. I truly appreciate the dedication and kindness I experienced during my stay. This time was really intense for me and I will remember you all with deep gratitude!!!”
