What people say

“Had a quick lunch here, food is alright, bit too oily and the beef was very rubbery and chewy, seasoned well tho and prices are cheap - chive dumplings were weird on texture, we didn’t really enjoy them - in overall it was alright”
“My first dinner in Phnom Penh and my first ever lort cha. So good and delicious. Good and reasonable prices. I still dream of Lort cha ever since I ate it here. Once my lort cha was served the staff kept gesturing to me to try one of the condiments. So I did. It was tasty and complimented the noodles well. There were also other condiments: chilli pastes, chilli sauce, soy sauce, pickles, chili oil, pepper, and some sauces I don’t know. Staff don’t really speak English but we were able to communicate somehow to order and pay. Service was quick. I was the only foreigner when I dined there as it’s a place frequented by locals. It was busy when I dined there. Luckily I got a table to myself, but it is expected to share a table when there is no left.”
“Definitely recommend the 4 different kuchay dishes! Excellent together with the chilli and garlic.”
“This family restaurant cooks Lort Cha and Nom Ka Chai right in front of you. The rice noodles were beautifully bouncy and chewy and the egg nice and jammy. I ordered Lort cha and 2 garlic chive cakes with a sugarcane juice which came to 15.5k (£2.80). Very tasty breakfast. Portions are generous. Excellent location right next to the museum.”
“Looking for one of the best Asian street foods in Cambodia? Here's the one, Lort Cha (Stir-fried rice pin noodle). This place is suitable for you to try, as it's located near the Royal Palace. They also have other types of noodles and chive cakes too, while you can try different customization (beef, patte, egg...) of choice for your preferred order. They also have delicious sauce with their special fermented garlic too (don't forget to ask for it, it's free). It will enhance the flavors of your Lort Cha to another level.”
