What people say

“We loved this place. We were staying at Santhiya for our honeymoon and found this spot and then came here multiple days in a row because everything was so good and well priced. It’s such a great relaxed spot to try delicious food! We hope to come back one day.”
“Very good food, and also good prices. We ate there 3 days in a row and still we had a variety of great food to try each time. In this market we tasted the best sticky rice with mango that we had tasted the whole trip! We loved the curry from Susie’s kitchen, he has a variety of curry dishes, you can ask for a very spicy curry, and he will also bring you his special homemade chili oil (which is amazing!).”
“Really nice and fresh food, we ordered traditional Thai food like papaya salad, fried rice, a book roll and a salad roll in rice leaves from the first stall on the right at a Thai couple who cooks wonderfully. In addition, at the next stall we ordered squeezed lemon with soda and ice. A real delicacy. Tasty, cheap and really nice”
“You must visit Susi's place if you're into good, slow cooked food. Cooked slowly in clay pots Susi offers a daily choice of delicious local food. Beef massaman, green curry, vegetable curries, served with rice or noodles, each plate is generous, filling and best of all different from the regular offerings you'll find on the tourist menu. A definite place for foodies and those who appreciate home cooking. The sauces are a little spicy, but not overwhelming. Honestly it's worth the drive if nor for the food then for the 2 beautiful beaches and charming village. A must!!”
“Based on recommendations read, I went with Susie’s clay pot curry. Tried the Penang chicken curry which was delicious, really good hearty pieces of chicken. Portions on the smaller size compared to some others tried but great service, very friendly and accomodating with kids. Recommend!”
