“I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. After the constant buzz of the city center, the atmosphere here felt incredibly refreshing and calm. When I arrived, I almost thought I was the first customer—but in typical Hanoi fashion, I soon discovered there were several dining rooms, some of them already full by 12:30 pm. I ordered a mix of street food and a fish dish. The fried rolls were the best I had in three weeks of traveling—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. The fish was fresh and fried to perfection. The service was impeccable. The waitress who served me spoke very good English and was attentive and kind throughout the meal. A perfect last dinner on my final day in Vietnam. Highly recommended.”

“The food is ok but nothing special. Better avoid fried food as those tend to be at once greasy and bland. The service is a complete mess. A lot of people run around but nohting gets done. For example they bring you a bottle of beer without a bottle opener. Then they bring you a can of soda which does not have an opening ring. You send it back. After a while another server brings you the same faulty can. Sone drink orders get forgotten. Some food too. When you remind them then they bring it but add it again to the bill as if you had ordered two plates. And so on... The business idea is there and the willingness as well but there seems to be noone in charge who is able to execute it.”
