What people say

“I loved my yellow curry! I asked the waitress through Google Translate which curry was the least spicy and she suggested yellow. I got the vegetarian and it was full of vegetables… I rate it alone a 5 star. My husband got the papaya salad and the Tom Yum soup with shrimp. He didn’t like the flavor of the salad and thought there was too much lime in his soup. The shrimp were cooked perfectly though and they were high quality. Location is great!”
“Hidden gem! Good local, cheap comforting food. Old lady boss is so lovely! She took our order patiently and gentle. Somtam is good, ask for less spicy. Fried rice is great. Chicken wings are good for kids.”
“The pork satay and crab fried rice were really delicious! However, since we ordered quite a lot and spent over two hours eating, two of the dishes we ordered were never served yet they still appeared on the bill when we checked out. It would be great if you could double-check the bill when collecting payment, as customers might end up paying for items that weren’t served.”
“Great place to eat a variety of well made Thai dishes. Sometimes a bit of a wait but never that long. Food comes when it's ready so eat as you go along. Don't order too much as 3-5 dishes is enough for 2 depending on how hungry you are.”
“Right in the middle of Ashok you’ll find this little gem — we call it the restaurant with the orange chairs, because the name is only written in Thai. It’s nothing fancy, just simple food done really well. If you look closely, you’ll notice it’s actually very clean, even though it has that slightly shabby, local look. This is the kind of place you come to for an honest, tasty meal, with the whole family pitching in. Don’t miss the satay, and definitely order the morning glory vegetables — so good.”
