“One of the trusted hospitals I would say when it comes to health care !! I gave birth to my second son at this hospital, I do really appreciate the doctors there they are very good, help through the hold natural birth process very smooth, I am glad that I decided to come here, due to my1st time experience with other clinic was not pleasant, any do recommend this hospital and I would like show my appreciation to all the housewife and doctors, I did recover fast, my baby healthy also , it become to of the hospital take we Take our family member to go check up. The environment is super clean and conformable , food was good when I was staying there for 3 days after my delivery. The doctor are super helpful and nice, they pay attention to mom and the baby. The only downsides is the distance from the town, it was challenging but at the end the delivery was smooth. The food for patient was great , I have 3 meals plus snack and fruits. The service of the front desk need to improve but it has nothing to do with quality doctors that the most important for me and my family. My only suggestion is to improve the customers service and administrative.”

“I had a deeply upsetting experience at Sunrise Hospital. I strongly advise anyone considering this facility to read this first. They prioritize profits over patients and have zero respect for your time. 1. Disrespectful Service & Long Waits: The efficiency here is nonexistent. We were forced to wait for over 2 hours for a consultation. When we finally saw the doctor, the meeting lasted barely 2 minutes. It felt like we were being rushed through an assembly line rather than receiving medical care. 2. Dishonest Pricing & Package Traps: They initially offered a surgery package that was supposed to be all-inclusive. However, once admitted, they completely ignored the agreement and charged extra for every single item and step. The final bill was significantly higher than the price we were quoted. 3. Predatory Medical Tactics: The doctors used scare tactics to pressure us into immediate surgery. Despite an ultrasound showing the condition was only at Stage 1, they insisted on surgery right away and pushed for an expensive CT scan solely to inflate the bill. 4. Lack of Empathy for Patient Life: When my father decided to leave due to the poor treatment, the doctor unhooked his IV with total indifference. Seconds later, they had the audacity to ask if he would stay "one more night" just to collect more room fees. They don't care about your health—only your money.”

“I visited this hospital on 22 Februari 2021 for medical consultation upon recommendation from some friends of mine. They said that this hospital is expensive but the quality is relatively better rather than other hospitals in the Phnom Penh city. But, I believe that, judgement about the quality of the hospital is quite subjective. It largerly depends on your personal experience with this or that things or with this or that object or issue. It does not one size fits all. First, from the physical experience, the building of the hospital is nothing special. It is a four storeys building (G Floor, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Floors). Its exterior is largerly painted brown. You can access the 1st Floor from G Floor by escalator/travelator. Then, from the 1st to 2nd and 3rd Floor you can use lift/elevator. When I arrived at this hospital at around 10:00 AM the front parking yard was full. You can parking at the backyard of this hospital too. I can not remember how big the front yard parking space is, but I guess it can accomodate up to 40-50 cars. If you are a first time visitor, and visiting this hospital without pre-booked appointment, you will see the first-check desk located outside hospital building, right before the main entrance to the hospital. You will be asked some questions related to your physical symptoms, travel history, etc. Then they will let you enter the main building through the main entrance. There, you will be asked to stand up in front of temperature check sensor to see your body temperature. This is become very common practice during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Then, if your body temperature is not exceed 37.3 C (normally), they will let you proceed further with your registration to meet with the doctor, both by walk-in registration or pre-booked appointment. If your visit is by walk-in appointment, then a front desk guy will contact the related department to confirm that there is a time slot for you to see the doctor. Second, overall, the process was standard and the people were helpful and kind. The other process were largerly standard, including to check your vital sign (blood pressure, your body weight, body temperature, using standard vital sign tools). Most of the nurses were skillful and kind, and they will ask you very detai questions about your symptoms, medical history, etc. before they let you see your specialist doctor. It would be helpful if you bring with you your previous diagnosis/prognosis relating to your symptoms or illness, including laboratory or the result of medical check up from the hospital or even from other hospital. It will help a lot for the doctor to decide about what need to do next. Third, this hospital is not big in terms of the building, but it is efficient in space utilization. Very Japanese style. They use every single space for somethings useful. They put many chairs nicely along the way in the foyer/corridor wherever possible, that visitor can sit or even having relax while waiting their beloved one being treated. So, the family/companion do not need to worry where to sit. This is the good news. Fourth, the bad news is that the canteen "KITAHARA" is not good enough, because the choice of food is very limited. You only have one, single choice food for lunch, that I call it: Steam rice with pork soup. Literally. Of course it is a big, very serious issue for someone with vegetarian or someone who does not eat pork, such as our Moslem friends. The other choice would only include croissant, bread with a piece of sausage inside, or raisins, and some common drink such as coffee, latte, iced tea, lemon tea (with ice or hot), etc. Hence, it is better for you to bring with you with your own, pre-packed meal. First time visitor pay $60 to meet specialist doctor (Japanese) and maybe less ($50) for Khmer specialist doctor (I belive he/ahe is in par in terms of skillfulness with his/her Japanese peer). Registration fee is $10, MRI is $190. Parking is free but normally you would like to give some tip for the security guard on dutt. Well recommended.”
