What people say

“Love love love the Zaatar Olive Sourdough here. It’s not cheap but it’s the real deal, look at the whole olives in the bread. I love the herbaceous profile of this bake. It goes with a good butter and/or any filling. It’s only available on weekends and you will need to pre order if you want to be sure of getting it.”
“We’ve always enjoyed panettone from The Bakehaus during Christmas, so when they teamed up with Iginio Massari this year for a European Christmas special, we had to give it a try. They offered both chocolate and classic, and we went for the classic. Getting it wasn’t the easiest — the delivery was delayed due to logistics from Europe, and with our tight schedule it turned into a bit of drama. But in the end, the warm service made the whole experience feel festive. Honestly, I was nervous before my first bite. With past panettone experiences (and my diabetes), I was expecting it to be overly sweet. So I approached carefully… but wow, it turned out way better than I thought. Apart from the sugary top, the flavor inside was beautifully balanced — those orange and citrus notes really stood out. The golden color makes it look so inviting, and the texture is soft and fluffy, pure enjoyment in every bite. Best part? My family loved it too. It wasn’t just dessert, it became a little moment of joy we all shared together.”
“Very lovely lady behind the counter who told me to go back during the weekend if I wanted more variety for their sourdough. I had the caramelized onion and sausage bun with coconut pandan latte plus an additional baguette + black iced coffee to go. Coffee was honestly not great but the bread is definitely worth trying if there’s no queue. I was there really early on a weekday so there was no waiting time at all.”
“Yesterday morning, I chanced upon this quaint underrated bakery during my morning walk, I bought a cranberry sourdough and 2 rolls of French butter. Today, I had it for breakfast and it had the countryside taste..it was lovely especially with the French butter.”
“Came to The Bakehaus with 3 friends at 11am on a weekday. There was no other customers. We each ordered a cooked food and a drink. It took about 45 minutes for all our food to arrive, with the first food arriving maybe 30 mins in. A cold drink took almost an hour and multiple reminders. The food is good but not worth the time taken to wait for the food. It's also a bit pricey and not air conditioned, so wouldn't recommend getting food that takes time to prepare.”
