“The best decision i made for my HCMC trip is to schedule a lunch buffet at Canvas Restaurant - Lotte Hotel Saigon. This is called a “seafood buffet” but there are also many choices than seafood. I ordered for a freeflowing of tiger beer worth 462,000. The service is highly commendable, staff were always smiling and assuring you that they are ready to help. However, i just didnt like that much the way they steamed the shrimp but thats still okay for the shrimp is fresh and delicious as it is. I will also like it if they have crabs in the selections. But the buffet is still good as it is. I made a reservation at this buffet through klook app which i definitely will do again. Next time I visit HCMC i will surely be back here and make a booking at this hotel. The restaurant has a view of the hotel’s swimming pool. This buffet offers a full course meal from appetizers, drinks including wine and beer, to mains and some Vietnamese delicacies, down to desserts and sweets they have it. The price i spent here for each of us is 1,900 php.”

“Every single thing here is just special, unique and out of Saigon ordinaries and all of that just for the prices of close to 80$. We went here on our anniversary and we were most definitely not disappointed at all. From beef to pork to lamb to sea food, lobster, crab, everything were done absolutely perfect. The chefs also take request for however you want your meat or seafood to be made as well, absolutely mind baffling for the incredibly fast services. Thank you The Canvas for having us full and appalled by the food quality. It was a really amazing night for us.”

“I had the lunch buffet at Lotte Saigon, and I truly enjoyed the experience. The spread was excellent — not overwhelming, but thoughtfully curated so you can really sample and savor each dish. I especially loved their seafood selection. They offer both chilled cocktail-style seafood and freshly grilled options. The grilled seafood paired with their Vietnamese-style grilling sauce was absolutely delicious and memorable. I was also impressed by their sushi and sashimi station. The salmon and tuna were fresh, exquisite, and beautifully prepared. Of course, they also featured Vietnamese classics elevated in a luxurious yet authentic way, all prepared fresh. For dessert, I particularly enjoyed the coconut and peanut ice cream, and I appreciated the local drink selections as well, especially the fresh sugarcane juice. If you want to experience Vietnamese cuisine alongside continental dishes in a refined buffet setting, this place is definitely worth it. What makes it even better is the value — compared to buffets in Manila, this is much more affordable for the quality you get. Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive, warm, and very sensitive to guests’ needs. Even with just a glance around, someone would immediately assist you. Communication was easy since the staff spoke English well. I would also like to especially commend Elly, one of the supervisors. She was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, recommending famous Vietnamese dishes for me to try. She served with a genuine smile and made an effort to converse warmly with me. As a foreigner visiting Vietnam, I truly appreciated that kind of hospitality. Overall, Lotte Saigon buffet is highly recommended.”

“Came here tonight with my family. We had other buffets we wanted to try but gave this a shot (it was the most expensive one compared to the other buffets) and left disappointed and super unhappy. Service is great, hotel super fancy and nice nothing wrong with that. The food is horrible! Please don’t waste $75 like we did while on vacation. The snow crab legs they give you dry as hell. The only thing saving the lobster was that it had butter so atleast it wasn’t dry. The food options could use more of variety for the PRICE point. The cheese board/charcuterie area.. every cheese was dry lol not edible. Bread area, dry. The only thing decent to eat was maybe the fried options but they didn’t have much to choose from. Everything was pretty much mid or average for what we are paying in my eyes. The desert selection was okay nothing to die for. Sushi area didn’t have much that’s pretty much it. But no salmon belly no tuna??? For a seafood buffet that’s insane. Left on a bad note due to wishing we could’ve picked the other buffet we were looking at! No thanks. Will not be reccomending this to anyone at all”
