What people say

“I had a great experience at my first Taco Tuesday at The Deck. The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The standout for me was the pulled pork taco, described on the menu as: “Pork belly & butt, slow cooked with butter, orange juice & cola.” I detected a hint of cinnamon or clove in there somewhere, but whatever magic was happening, it worked. The flavor was so good I was reluctant to eat the pork as a full taco because I wanted to savor it exactly as it was seasoned and cooked. Absolutely excellent. On my way out, I asked a gentleman if I could pet his dog, called Popcorn. Turns out that gentleman was Damian, the owner of The Deck. Full disclosure: This review is not influenced by Damian, or the cuteness of Popcorn. I genuinely had a fantastic experience and look forward to coming back to The Deck.”
“We had some outstanding Thai food at The Deck in sukhumvit soi 20. They have indoors and outdoors and they can also custom make the dishes. We wanted something less spicy so the attendant made the Thai curry soup less spicy but retaining the wonderful flavours. Many beers available too.”
“Our first dinner in Bangkok was at The Deck Bangkok, and it turned out to be a fun and memorable way to kick off the trip. The experience was made even more special because, on the night we visited, the restaurant was hosting a Halloween Night celebration. The festive atmosphere instantly lifted the mood — guests were even offered free makeup, which added a playful, lively energy throughout the evening. It felt more like a celebration than just a regular dinner. Food-wise, we kept it simple and ordered the steak and a Caesar salad. Both dishes were well prepared and satisfying. The steak was nicely cooked and flavourful, while the Caesar salad stood out for being authentic — they actually used sardines (anchovies), which gave the dressing that proper depth and savoury punch many places skip. It’s always a good sign when classic dishes are done the right way. Prices here are on the higher side, but that’s expected given the location, atmosphere, and overall experience. You’re paying not just for the food, but also for the ambiance and occasion. Overall, The Deck Bangkok is a great spot for a special night out, especially if you’re lucky enough to visit during a themed event. Good food, fun vibes, and a memorable start to our Bangkok journey. 🎃✨”
