What people say

“Just wrapped up a great event at Overlap @ The Working Capitol! Amazing space with all the amenities to organize a seamless event - access to a huge TV, AV, water dispenser, fridge, power points, washroom. We used the Boardroom at the back of our event space for catering, as it has a separate entrance/exit, minimizing disruption to our event 🔥 We comfortably held 45 people for 8 hours and a networking session at the end. Huge thanks to the superstar Kai, for helping us to organize the space and paying attention to the smallest details like signages and USB ports. He was helpful and so responsive to our questions during the planning process! 🌟”
“This is an excellent shared working space with an environment that’s truly conducive to getting work done. From day one, you’re always greeted by the friendly and welcoming community managers—Lisa, Kai, and Zali—who make TWC feel less like an office and more like a village. The amenities and perks are thoughtfully provided, the rates are reasonable, and there are even incentives for referrals, which speaks volumes about how much they value their community. Unfortunately, our team has found an office space closer to our TPY HQ so I have to end my membership—but if given the opportunity, I’d absolutely love to return and work here again. Highly recommend meeting the crew and becoming part of this vibrant neighbourhood.”
“I genuinely enjoy working here. The location on Duxton Hill couldn’t be better. It’s one of those neighborhoods that naturally sparks creativity. I love that the MRT exit is right by the temple; every morning I get a tiny “tourist moment” before heading upstairs to work. What really makes it special, though, is the community. People actually know each other, so casual “office talk” happens naturally. It feels easy, friendly, and grounding. And in terms of affordability, it’s honestly some of the best value you’ll find in this part of the city. And I have to mention Erlisa at reception! She’s consistently warm, helpful, and creates such a welcoming first impression every time I walk in.”
“My third event done at The Working Capitol and second one done at their venue at 1 Keong Saik Road. Kai (TWC) went above and beyond for our event. Helped us with the set up one day before the event and was on hand on event day to make sure things go smoothly. The space was spacious, beautiful and newly renovated. Bonus points for: (1) fridge, (2) sink, (3) hot / cold water dispenser, (4) coffee and tea making facilities, (5) wireless mic x 2 with bluetooth speaker (6) huge flat screen for presentations. The location is also central, convenient, accessible on foot from the MRT.”
“Thank you, The Working Capitol, for providing such a welcoming and inspiring space for our Weigh Less, Live More event! The atmosphere was cosy yet professional — perfect for meaningful conversations, learning, and connection. Everyone felt at ease and energized. Highly recommend this venue for workshops, talks, and community gatherings. 🌿💚”
