“If anyone asked if I knew a great wine bar in Vietnam, I'd say Tannin and Thở Winespace. Where Tannin makes up in the extensive wine list and food to pair with whichever bottle you choose, Thở Winespace is a totally different kind of space. At the front table, you're greeted like a regular, or even better, like family. Hospitality here is unmatched, resembles that of Aussie hospitality where everywhere feels like you're walking into a neighbourhood restaurant that fed your auntie when she was a child. Wine list is crazy, wine by the glass is great to start with if you're not comfortable downing a whole bottle, white wines are sublime, that shiraz mix was better than most red wines I've ever tried having. Just swing by on a week night, grab a couple of mates and sit down have a glass or two before saying thank you and leaving a happier man/woman. Oh and grab some snacks before kitchen closes.”

“10/10 for everything – the best wine bar I've ever been to in Hanoi! Mrs. Trang was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. She walked us through the entire menu and even gave us a mini lesson about each wine available by the glass. The bar has both indoor and outdoor seating, and every corner feels cozy and charming. It's a perfect spot to hang out with friends or for a date night. And the price is so afordable compared to others. I'll definitely be coming back!”

“I love the amiable tone and knowledge of the lady that served us. She knows the wine and accordingly recommends us a good bottle of sparkling red that was just so easy to drink. The food is really tasty that we had seconds. While the sausage is good, I think the charcuterie board, the okra salad, and the spicy roasted chicken really did amaze me.The miso brown butter with bread is also a lovely order. I think the place can benefit from the inclusion of sweet things in the menu. Will come back!”

“Pleasant surprise Great wine selection and pairing knowledge. Original menu that’s more in line with contemporary Vietnamese fusion. Better than some overpriced French Vietnamese variation. All and all, great couple running the show that loves wine and food they create.”
