Tony's Sukhumvit 11

“We’ve been to Tony’s a few times now and keep coming back, so that says something. Great location right in the middle of Soi 11, friendly staff, and the service moves fast even when you have a big group (there were eight of us). The meatball appetizer was the star of the night. Several of us ordered it and everyone agreed it was outstanding. Honestly worth coming just for that. Beyond the apps, one friend had the steak and raved about it, another got the spaghetti and meatballs and loved it, and the pizza is always reliable. Tony’s does Italian comfort food well. The one miss was the carbonara. Two of us ordered it and neither of us were fans. It didn’t look anything like the photo on the menu and just didn’t deliver. Skip that one. One thing worth knowing: the DJ starts at 8pm. If you’re going for a dinner where you want to actually talk to the people you came with, get there early and plan to wrap up before then. I’m sure the later crowd loves it but 8pm feels a bit early to switch from restaurant to club mode. We were lucky to be finishing up right around then. Overall a great night and we’ll definitely be back.”

“If you feel like some great Italian food in Thailand this is your place. After a few weeks of Thai food I craved something different. I ate here for dinner on my last night and lunch just before i go back to Australia. The service is also fantastic, Sue looked after me with great care. A must try! Thank you Sue!”

Everything was well prepared, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience felt smooth and enjoyable. A great spot in Bangkok for a fun meal in a great location. “This is an amazing Italian restaurant. Today for lunch I had their spaghetti and meatballls, pasta was cooked to perfection, the meatballs were like what you would get at a Italian house, just perfection on the meatballs, ai had mozzarella sticks for a appetizer, and they came with parmesan over them and tasted awesome. The best was left for last, their taramasu, I was presented what looked like a tea kettle with what looked like steam coming out, I asked what it was, they said my dessert. It was a most awesome presentation. Now I come from NYC, where we love our Italian restaurants, and I have to say, they are up there with the best Italian restaurants I have to around the world. For late night dinner, I went with the mozzarella sticks again with truffle fries, and the double smash burger, again the quality and yeast was heavenly. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want authentic Italian food.”
