“Review: Trans Studio Bali Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "The ultimate rainy-day (or heatwave) escape in Bali!" If you think Bali is only about beaches and temples, you haven’t stepped into Trans Studio. Located inside Trans Studio Mall in Denpasar, this is a world-class indoor theme park that honestly rivals some of the big names in Singapore or Japan. It’s entirely air-conditioned, making it the perfect "Plan B" when the Bali humidity or a sudden monsoon downpour hits. The Highlights: * Flying Over Indonesia: This was the standout for me. It’s a state-of-the-art motion simulator (think Disney’s Soarin’) that takes you over the archipelago. The scents of the forests and the mist from the waterfalls make it incredibly immersive. * Boomerang Challenge Coaster: This coaster literally sits on the roof of the mall. It launches you forward and then shoots you backward—definitely the biggest adrenaline rush in the park! * Bali Senses: A stunning digital art installation that feels like a Balinese version of TeamLab. It’s incredibly Instagrammable and a great way to start the day. * Formula Kart: A proper high-speed indoor go-kart track. If you’re competitive, this is where you’ll spend most of your time. Pro Tips for 2026: * Skip the Line: As of 2026, the park is very popular. I highly recommend getting the VIP Access (Fast Track). It costs a bit more (around 250,000 IDR extra), but on a busy weekend, it saves you hours of waiting for the karts and the coaster. * iFly is Extra: If you want to do the indoor skydiving (iFly), keep in mind it’s usually not included in the standard entry ticket. Book a combo deal online (Klook/Tiket.com) to save money. * Check the Show Schedule: Don't miss the Temple Raider Stunt Show. The pyrotechnics and motorcycle stunts are surprisingly high-quality for an indoor venue. * Food Tip: You can’t bring outside food, but since it's attached to a massive mall, I recommend eating a big meal at the mall’s basement food court before you head into the park to save a few Rupiah. It’s not the cheapest attraction in Bali (tickets for foreigners are around 500,000 IDR), but for the quality of the rides and the AC, it’s worth every penny.”
“Ok shopping mall if you are a local, not too touristy which was refreshing. Good range of local commercialised takeaways but we still managed to get a traditional Indonesian dessert at the large coffee shop at the entrance- across from the ever present Starbucks. We also went to the movies there. Great cinema - super clean, cheap and comfy.”
“Visited Trans Studio Bali and felt a bit underwhelmed. There are very few rides — the roller coaster was the only one that really gave goosebumps, while most of the others are more for kids. Some rides weren’t working, and the decent ones had around a 60-minute wait. The show was cute, and it’s definitely better suited for families with toddlers. Also, some rides closed at 5 PM even though the park says it closes at 7 PM, which was disappointing.”
“STAY Away and don't get scamed I have family from 2 adults and 2 kids ( 10 and 11 yrs old) . They insisted to pay for 4 adults and their family entry deal ( 2 adults and 2 kids didn't apply as my kids over 7yrs old. 80% of the riders not for adults or restricted 140cm height. All food court options were closed 😕 or not sounds good to eat from. We asked to go to the mall to eat and come back for the go-kart ride but they refused to allow us to exit and come back. Also the manager wasn't around to handle the situation. A guy named Rizky handled the situation unprofessionally. Please advise this place is a scame and not family friendly. Close 6pm not 10pm Most riders are not suitable for family or adults. Very expensive for what you get. Not flexible to go have something to eat outside the place and get back for the only ride my kids wanted. FYI another guy named Dharma contacted the manager but unfortunately they don't care about customer satisfaction neither experience.”
“Unforgettable Fun at Trans Studio Bali – Flying Over Indonesia Steals the Show! Trans Studio Bali in Denpasar is a must-visit for families and thrill-seekers! The park is impeccably clean, bursting with energy, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The rides are exhilarating, and the food options are tasty, offering a great mix of local and international dishes. Nestled in Trans Studio Mall, it’s perfect for a full day of fun, dining, and shopping. The absolute highlight is Flying Over Indonesia—a jaw-dropping 7-minute virtual paragliding experience soaring over Indonesia’s stunning landscapes and cultural treasures in vivid 8K resolution. Highly recommend this amazing destination for an action-packed, memorable day!”
