“Our first visit to KL. We found VCR and really like it. The crab sandwich is tasty, properly crispy, just right. My wife got the sourdough with smoked salmon & egg. She loved it. Excellent iced coffee and latte. Very reasonable pricing. Took home a loaf of their sourdough and a tiramisu! Friendly staff. We will go back again!”

“Very cool cafe. I like the industrial design inside. Tables, chairs, floor, upstairs, all design are unified. The avocado toast was very good and cold coffee as well. At 8:00am on Sunday morning, there were not so many people, yet. You can easily find tables, I guess.”

“Visited in September 25 during a weekend brunch hour. The café wasn’t full yet, and I managed to get a seat upstairs. Tried their Turkish style Eggs and classic chicken Sandwich, which I found rather mediocre. The Turkish style Eggs came with sourdough toast, tomato chickpeas, Greek yogurt, pistachios, and sausage. However, the tomato paste was too sweet for my liking, which made the dish less enjoyable overall. That said, the sourdough toast was nicely pan-seared with olive oil and had a good texture. As for the Classic Chicken Sandwich, I personally found it bland. While the sourdough toast itself was nice, the filling didn’t stand out in terms of flavor. Coffee, however, was good. The ambience is pleasant, with nice music playing in the background.”

“I found this place while looking for a cafe that opens early in the morning. I ordered an iced brewed coffee and French toast. The highlight was definitely the French toast—easily the best I've ever had! The staff were also incredibly kind, which made for a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere.”

“These guys really know what they are doing when it comes to making good quality coffee! This coffee house is located in a beautifully restored old house with a gorgeous little terrace at the back. I'll definitely be returning in the future on my next trip to KL.”
