“Veranda is a very unique cafe near Phnom Penh’s Bassac Lane district. It’s a mixture of a pottery shop and cafe, where they have a unique mission that helps raise money for those in need. The cafe itself is very quaint, and serves really well-balanced coffee, matcha, and tea drinks. The pottery selection is beautiful and homely—showcasing handmade works that have small marks of imperfection that are what make a great piece. Overall this is a very cute little oasis in an otherwise busy district of the city, and I highly recommend checking it out. One of my favorite finds in PP as of late.”

“Story upon arriving to place was very touching. Appreciate how they incorporated tradition and appreciation of art, in this case, pottery. Beautiful calming atmosphere, good for wanting to relax and charge your energy. Enough greenery for it to be absolutely gorgeous. Reminded me of my grandparents’ house where I used to live during childhood, it was woody, old, comfortable just like this place. Overall for me was very nostalgic and emotional to be in. Touching. I love it here.”
