“Tried the Shacha 沙茶 soup base hot pot, but it was not like the Taiwanese Shacha I had before (or I could be wrong). It was good, though I did not really like it. The hot pot toppings were also not really in the Taiwanese style (correct me if I’m wrong). I’ve seen other reviews saying the soup tastes just like what they had in Taiwan, so I’m not sure about that. I’ll try a different soup next time. I also ordered the stewed pork intestines as a side dish. It was okay. Price-wise, at first glance it is a bit expensive compared to other hot pot brands, but they offer free-flow snacks, drinks, and ice cream, which makes it reasonable for the price. The owner was friendly, although some staff were not. Nice atmosphere. A good new hot spot, not a wow, but I would go again.”
