“I had a great experience at XWave Specialty Coffee today. The crème brûlée coffee was definitely the highlight rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness. You can really tell they put effort into crafting their drinks. I also loved the simple and cozy ambiance of the shop. It’s not overly fancy, but that’s what makes it relaxing and comfortable, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying a quiet moment with a good cup of coffee. Will definitely come back to try more from their menu!”

“We loved the Spanish Latte and some of their concoctions. The Cheesy Nachos were lovely, with everything in between layers instead of being sprinkled just at the top. Slightly on the pricier side (vs neighboring shops) but you won't regret what you spent here. The place can get busy but the number of seated guests is also a proof of being a clean and comfortable space, with friendly and accomodating people. Loved our visit :)”

“Overall rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (8/10) I stayed here from 9AM to 6PM on a Weekday and honestly, I loved the place! Ambiance: The lighting is soft and cozy — not too bright, not too dim — perfect for reading or working. The temperature inside is comfortable, not too hot or too cold. The background music adds to the relaxing vibe, especially from 9AM to 12PM, when the atmosphere feels calm and peaceful. Work/Study-Friendly: They offer free Wi-Fi, and the internet speed is fast and stable, making it a great spot for studying, working, or just catching up online. Coffee/Drinks: Perfect! I tried the Strawberry Matcha and Salted Caramel Latte — both tasted amazing. Prices are reasonable for the drinks. Side comment: I hope they can improve their straws though; mine cracked while it was still in the glass. Food: • Grilled Cheese Sandwich (3.5/5): The wedge fries and dip were delicious! The sandwich itself was flavorful but the crust was too hard, even the knife struggled to cut through it. • Mango Crepe (4/5): Not too sweet, just right, though it felt like something was missing to make it stand out more. • Beef Gyudon (3.5/5): It was okay but something felt missing in the flavor. Maybe a bit more seasoning or sauce would make it better. The food is on the pricey side, but the presentation and serving size make up for it a bit. Service: Staff are all nice, friendly, and approachable (definitely a plus)! Crowd level: Gets quite busy and noisy from 3PM to 5PM, so if you’re looking for quiet study or work time it’s best to come before lunch.”

“Coffees are THAT good. Freshly made, freshly served, and very refreshing. I like how open the cafe was. It is possible for the customers to see what the barista is making, at the same time, the work organization of the cafe, which is actually very interesting to watch. The vibe in the cafe is also great. Song playlists are the popular ones, and the cafe itself feela comfy. Very good for a date or a friend group get together. I just love the overall aura of the cafe as well as its menu. Will most likely visit again for another coffee get together. 😄”

“Such a solid find in Maginhawa. Here’s what I tried: • 🍓 Strawberry Matcha Latte – The best I’ve ever tasted. Perfect balance of earthy matcha and fresh strawberry sweetness. Not overly sweet, super smooth, and very well blended. Easily the standout. • ☕ Latte – Good. Smooth, well-balanced, and comforting — a reliable classic. • 🍔 Hamburger – Reminds me of Sweet Ecstasy. Juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. I like it. Overall, definitely worth visiting — especially for that strawberry matcha latte. Would come back for that alone. 🌸”
